My father was transferred to Newbridge House following hospital admission for a fall. His mobility was very poor and he was eating very little and he wasn't the Dad we knew. The team at Newbridge have given us back our Dad. The whole team from the carers to the cleaners to the catering staff, are exceptionally
caring and attentive to the residents. The staff are always helpful and have a smile on their faces making the atmosphere more like a home and not a 'care home'. The team are welcoming to family and friends and the team remember all the visitor's names. If I had to choose a home for my Dad I would choose here.

I have found Newbridge House to be faultless! All of the staff are warm, inviting, friendly & caring to both residents & family/visitors etc. They are always on hand to answer questions and provide support. They go above and beyond! The home itself is warm, bright, equipped & always clean!
I feel
as a daughter grateful that my Dad is safe, happy and cared for with his needs being met. We are kept up to date & informed of Dad's well-being; also any concerns are dealt with and communicated efficiently.
I would recommend Newbridge House without a doubt! 5 star!

I have nothing but praise for Newbridge House. It is excellently led by the manager who has the support of an excellent caring team of staff who are knowledgeable, caring and always ready to help.
The home is warm, bright, clean and welcoming and residents are looked after very well.
The family are
kept informed of the well-being of their relative and any concerns that arise are immediately dealt with and there is no delay in calling for medical help if it is needed.
I am now reassured and thankful that my brother is safe, well cared for and all his needs are met by the manager and her team and I would have no hesitation in recommending Newbridge House.

My father has been with Newbridge House since mid-October 2022. On doing much research in finding my dad a placement I can only say as his son including my mother that their kindness care quality and attentiveness to my dad have been excellent. They provide a professional care service and give us as
a family peace of mind in that my dad is being thoroughly looked after. I would recommend anybody in our situation to seriously contact Newbridge. The staff are great from management all the way through the establishment.

I have found all the staff are kind, they go that extra mile in caring for the elderly people in the home. I found all the staff easy to talk to and are extremely friendly to visitors. Nothing is too much trouble, they carry out their duties 100% and are a credit to the welfare of Newbridge House.

My mother stayed at Newbridge House for several weeks for respite care following a fall/surgery. The staff were attentive and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Her room was comfortable, and the catering staff went out of their way to meet her dietary requests. Additional services such as
hairdressing and podiatry were also much appreciated.

Lovely caring staff can't do enough for you and very well organised with others coming in to do crafts, singing, hair etc. Rooms are very well kept and decorated to suit each individual they really help you feel like your home.

I cannot speak highly enough of the level of care and compassion that everyone at Newbridge House showed to not only my mother as a resident but to my whole family through what was a very challenging time. The genuine love and affection that was shown to my mum throughout her time in Newbridge House
is something I will forever be grateful. All of the staff took time to get to know her as an individual and even when her behaviour became more challenging treated her with love, dignity and respect. My father visited daily and was taken in as part of the Newbridge House family and whenever I visited was made to feel welcome. During my mum's final days at Newbridge House, we were by her side constantly and seeing how the staff treated not only her but also the other residents, be it day or night, affirmed everything I already knew to be true about this amazing care home. I cannot truly express the gratitude I feel for everything they have done for my family, you are not a care home but a caring home. Thanks

The staff have made a real effort to know my husband, his humour and create a sense of fun with him. They are very sensitive when he is medically off and are quick to put observations in place to monitor him and call emergency services where appropriate. The management is always available and address
any concerns I may have swiftly and efficiently - no excuses given ever.

Since my mother was being looked after by Newbridge (after moving her from a previous establishment) she has really improved in her mobility and her well-being. She loves the place and the staff are always willing to help and really take pride in their duties with nothing being too much to help all
of the residents.
She eats all of the food provided, so it must be good.

During our initial search for a suitable care home for my father we discovered Newbridge House and from our conversation with the Home Manager we immediately had a gut feeling that this was a good home and this has proved to be very much the case. We are totally relaxed knowing that Dad is in the best
possible place to meet his needs. He is always saying how good the food is and that the staff are friendly and have a joke with him. Visiting the home is always a pleasant experience due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. His care has been excellent as he was quite poorly when he first arrived but due to the care, love and attention given by the staff he has improved tremendously.

I cannot speak highly enough about the care my mother has received in Newbridge House since October last year. From day one the staff have been very friendly and welcoming, nothing ever seems too much trouble. As a nurse myself with 40 years of experience in the NHS, I am so impressed with the standards
of care that are delivered, and the fact that maintaining the dignity of the residents is clearly a priority.
The home has a very homely feel about it and my mother says the food is excellent!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Newbridge House to anyone looking for a care home. They really have got something special there!

Newbridge understands dementia and how to deal with it. They understand the effect that it has not only on the sufferer but also on the people who love and care for them. They have been supportive of me from the outset.
I expected high standards of care, and if they had not been delivered, I would
have moved my wife to somewhere that did. I was not prepared to accept second best. I am delighted to say that my expectations were met, each day, every day, and invariably exceeded. The care is second to none. I remain confused why this care home is only rated as good. It is so much better than that.
I have found Newbridge to be flexible and helpful wherever possible, but where the well-being of residents is involved, they do not compromise.
I expected the carers to treat residents with dignity and respect, which they did. What I had not expected was the compassion, kindness and love that was constantly shown to all the residents.
I would choose Newbridge for myself if it were needed.

Fran Bodo is Newbridge House’s Deputy manager, who has worked at the home since it opened. Fran has over 12 years experience of in supporting elderly people with dementia and mental health issues. Fran holds level 5 NVQ in care and works closely with Multi-Disciplinary Team to manage the Health and well-being of our residents. Fran is also Newbridge's Diversity Champion.
