Harden Hall is a contemporary residential and dementia care home located in the heart of the community. Each of the 54 single bedrooms has an en-suite wet room.

The home is operated by Anchor and provides residential care, which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life.

The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Anchor are specialists in dementia care and provide on-going training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

I really enjoy visiting Harden Hall, over the years that I have been visiting I have always felt comfortable and welcome, residents always have plenty of activities going on and support for all needed, I love it there.

Absolutely amazing care home where the staff go above and beyond, the manager is lovely, very caring approachable and professional. You always feel very welcomed and nothing is ever too much. I enjoy visiting and always feel part of the team and activities when I come and I am always offered a lovely
cup of tea.

Very friendly carers, make a good cup of tea and coffee.
I visit someone I have known for many years.
He tells me the food is very good and he seems well cared for and is helped by all.
As I have no idea of costs etc. I can only put satisfactory.
Reception is always welcoming and helpful, and security
very good, but handled kindly!

My mom lived in Harden Hall from May 30th 2019 until December 2nd 2023. Unfortunately, she passed away, but at 91 years old, she had a good life. Those last years were made much better quality of life, nothing was too much, staff went above and beyond that the support we got as a family was second to
none. I would recommend the home to anyone. My mom was not the easiest dementia resident to care for and was difficult at times but the staff got to know my mom well and knew how to settle he and make her happy.

From the moment you walk through the door reception, office staff, care staff are wonderful. It feels like a home. The staff are amazing, there are smiles on their faces, and the welcome is warm and genuine. Nothing is too much trouble. It's a pleasure to always go there.

Harden Hall is a clean and pleasant care home. On every visit, staff are available if required and very helpful.
On-site facilities include chiropody and hairdressing, which my aunt loves.
I would highly recommend Harden Hall to anyone.

The staff are all polite and kind and take the time to listen to you. They do lots of activities for residents, there is always someone there to talk to on the telephone and every time I ask for something to be done for Dad it is more or less straight away.

The overall experience of entering the reception of the care home gives you a good idea of the standard of care. My mother has been in the home for six years now, and I can say with hand on heart she would not be here now. I left in the community, my mom has reached a milestone in her long life she
will be 100 in October and she has got this far because of the standard of care those hard-working staff put in. All food is freshly cooked and presented well all furniture is replaced on a regular basis, well done to you all.

After my father arrived at Harden Hall a couple of months ago, there was an immediate improvement in his mental and physical health. The staff have welcomed him warmly and looked after him very well indeed, given his moderate dementia, this is of great relief to me to know that he is in a safe and very
suitable environment. He has also been able to develop friendships with some of the other residents. Many thanks for everything the team has done so far and long may it continue!

I find the home very welcoming, the staff are always on hand to answer any question we may have. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. Mom is always clean and presentable, Mom most of the time seems happy in her own world. I do like the fact you can visit without any restrictions. I would recommend the

My 96 years young mother has been a resident at the home for over 12 months and has been well looked after throughout her stay. I have found the staff, friendly, welcoming and helpful in all aspects of mothers care. The home is well looked after and kept clean and tidy in all the areas I visit. I would

Absolutely amazing place. The staff are the best and they treated my mother with empathy and dignity. Very professional. Very supportive of the family also. Also other members of the team. The chefs and cleaners and also the lovely lady who does all the admin. The standards are excellent.

My mother is at end of life care and the home have been very kind and caring towards her and have treated her with dignity which I know I would have found impossible in a hospital situation during the Covid crisis and I am extremely thankful for this care towards her.

I cannot fault the care my sister received while staying at Harden Hall. It was nice knowing that she was safe and secure during her respite stay. It gave me peace of mind, so I could relax. We shall definitely be using Harden Hall for all of my sister's respite care. All the staff that I came into
contact with were excellent, and the condition of the home was also excellent and homely.

What can I say about this wonderful care home, pure perfection. Every member of staff went above and beyond for our dad and us when we recently spent 4 days and nights at his bedside, sadly for end of life. They looked after us so well, keeping us fuelled, food and drinks all day and night and supported
us every step of the way. They have so much compassion and are so professional we just can't find fault or a single negative. Dad was only there a few months but he loved them all. They kept him smiling and had so much time for him. As they do all their residents. The care he received was outstanding from beginning to the end. The food was amazing. Rooms are beautiful and the staff are of the highest quality. They were so aware of every resident's needs at all times. We can't thank them enough for all they did for our dad making his last few months special for him and well cared for day and night. Can't put into words how grateful we are to have found Harden Hall and its amazing staff.
