Harden Hall is a contemporary residential and dementia care home located in the heart of the community. Each of the 54 single bedrooms has an en-suite wet room.

The home is operated by Anchor and provides residential care, which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life.

The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Anchor are specialists in dementia care and provide on-going training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

Anchor reinvests the money made into their retirement properties and care homes, to continually raise standards to provide a high-quality service to surpass customer’s expectations.

Following last years damning CQC report I along with most relatives have been closely monitoring the changes/improvements at Harden Hall and yes there have been some, but there's still a long way to go. The general atmosphere has improved and the staffing level has increased which can only be good.
My mother seems quite "content" most of the time, the food is good and overall I feel things are finally on the up but not before time.
The new manager seems to have matters well in hand and communicates with relatives.
