Claremont House is a double storey building with 30 single bedrooms, 8 which have en-suite/wet room facilities. Claremont House provides support for people who require residential care. They like to make a difference to the lives of those with care needs by offering a comfortable and flexible living environment and permanent access to a skilled and friendly team of professionals.

My wife was only a resident in Warrington Lodge for about eight weeks before she passed away, but I am lost in admiration for the care she received and the compassion of the wonderful staff who looked after her in the last few weeks of her life - a great source of comfort for me.

This care that Mum received could not have been better for the last ten years of her 103-year life. Everyone was always considerate of her and of us visiting family.

I was very reluctant to make the decision to move my mum into a care home, but due to her mental and physical restrictions following a fall, I had no option but to do so. I chose Warrington Lodge as a friend had recommended but also because it was very close to home so we could visit regularly. Unfortunately
Mum passed away just a few days ago but I feel keen to write a review to express just how incredible the staff and care have been whilst Mum was a resident. At all times she was treated with love and respect by every single staff member and nothing was ever too much trouble. My expectations of a care home were exceeded and the dedication to making Mum as comfortable and happy as possible was truly exceptional. I cannot thank you all enough for making both Mum's life and mine as good as it could possibly have been under the circumstances.

Mum had to go into care suddenly after a fall. This home was always going to be our first choice as my stepdad had been there previously, so we knew what a special place it was. The home itself is well laid out, there are plenty of different spaces to spend time, not restricted to room or day room.
Any teething problems we had initially were sorted quickly and professionally. Some amazing staff.

Just over a year ago, we moved Mum from a home in Bucks, so she could be closer to her family. The atmosphere at Warrington Lodge is always happy and calm - this reflects in the mood of residents and the staff always work efficiently as a team to care professionally and maintain excellent standards
as they take genuine interest in their work. As a consequence, we consider Mum to be extremely well looked after and she is always happy and content.

My dad stayed at Warrington Lodge which is a specialist dementia unit. They have an excellent understanding of the residents' needs.
The care home is very professionally run to an extremely high standard. I found them to be caring, compassionate and most importantly, open and honest in all aspects
of the care provided. Dad was very happy there. He loved the light and airy building and enjoyed the lounges and watching the big TV. There were regular activities which he was encouraged to join in. He didn't always want to, but it was good to know that they were available on a regular basis. They also had entertainers come in.
The staff took a real interest in him as a person. He was very much into old films and his music. It was the little thoughtful touches and wonderful caring staff that made Warrington Lodge special. Thank you to everyone who looked after him. You do an amazing job and I will always be grateful for the care you provided and the ongoing support you also gave to me.

We have found as a family that dad is very happy and comfortable here. We are very satisfied with how he is being looked after and cared for as they are his family and that is how they view him. Warrington Care Home is beautifully managed, run, and maintained by an army of fabulous hard-working staff. It is kept immaculate with lovely rooms and beautiful gardens. The food is great and wholesome with a varied menu. I know my dad is very well cared for. It was a hard decision to place my dad
in a care setting as he loved his home but due to deteriorating health it was the right one and he has settled well and the peace of mind I now have is immeasurable.

My dad has been a resident since going in for respite care in July 2023. He is now a permanent resident and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They are patient and kind, and nothing is too much trouble. The head of care and her team keep us very well informed of any concerns they have and how
Dad is getting on. The food is delicious and Dad has gained weight and is looking so much better since being in residence. The rooms are lovely and well maintained. I cannot recommend the home highly enough.

My mum has been living here for 7 months now and every day we know it is the right place for her. It is a place she feels happy and safe. From the moment we first visited, the warmth and care have been exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Mum enjoys the time spent with other residents and the carers,
and the activities put on are lovely - she always has lots to say when we visit! It is like a family and she feels so at home there. We will be forever grateful that she chose this as her home.

I cannot praise the staff enough for the care and kindness mum received during her recent respite stay. This was mum's first experience of in-house care and she was very anxious. Happily this fear of future respite/long-term care has been dissipated thanks to the team. They were caring and professional,
and obviously formed a stable and established team. Mum enjoyed the food, environment and services such as the hairdresser. Mum had a serious issue with her power chair which was dealt with quickly and efficiently ensuring she regained her mobility with minimum delay. I obviously have no hesitation in recommending this home.

Warrington Lodge Care Home is a very friendly, well-managed care home for dementia residents. My dad has been here since April 2022 and he has gradually settled into his new surroundings really well. The direct care staff here are excellent. There is no doubt they fully understand the difficult time
dementia residents are suffering constantly and they treat the patients with dignity and respect. Without these carers, life would have been unbearable for our family so a very big thank you to the carers and all the support staff and management who do such wonderful work looking after all the residents, including my lovely dad. You should all be immensely proud of the work you do for the families and the wider community.

Cannot praise the staff more highly for the care and consideration for the last four years of my mother-in-law's life. She was comfortable and thought a lot of by all the staff who cared for her. She was treated as we were with dignity and love and the care they gave her at the end of life was heartwarming.

My mum lived at the home for just over four years and died there this month. She was exceptionally well cared for and really felt at home. Her end-of-life care could not be faulted. The staff are all wonderful.

Very recently my aunt, a resident for over four years, was suddenly taken seriously ill. Flatly refusing to go to hospital. The staff at the home then supervised and looked after her during her "end-of-life" care. They were excellent, caring, compassionate and administered all her needs. They even gave
time to me, my sister and my wife, ensuring that we were also "ok". I can't praise them enough.

I can highly recommend this home. Mum was well looked after, safe and happy. The rooms are lovely and well maintained. The staff are fantastic - friendly, helpful and caring. Communication with the home is amazing, even through the difficulties of Covid. I am so sad that Mum now needs more care and
following a hospital stay needs to move home. I hope I find one as good!

Mum has been with this home now for nearly two and a half years. We were so pleased with the home when Mum first moved there. I can honestly say how pleased with Mum's care we still are. With all the ups and downs of the last two years with the pandemic, I was still able to keep in touch with Mum. I
was notified straight away of any falls, changes to medication or if things had changed in any way. The staff are all so lovely, and I know at any time I can contact them if at all worried re Mum.

I couldn't be happier with the care my mother received at this home over the past three years. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are helpful and caring. I was kept informed of any concerns or changes to Mum's medication and was reassured to know that when it was needed Mum would be seen by doctor.
The home is well managed and has seemed to cope remarkably well through all the challenges that the Covid pandemic has brought. Although at times I was unable to visit Mum, the staff helped me and other family members to stay in close contact with her through Skype and I always felt that she was in safe hands.
