Warrington Lodge has been purpose built, one storey and comprises 21 bedrooms all with en-suite/wet room facilities. Warrington Lodge provides support for people with a diagnosis of dementia. Claremont House is a double storey building with 30 single bedrooms, 8 which have en-suite/wet room facilities. Claremont House provides support for people who require residential care. They like to make a difference to the lives of those with care needs by offering a comfortable and flexible living environment and permanent access to a skilled and friendly team of professionals.

The facility welcomes short and long-term stays, permanent, respite, and day care services.

My aunt was in this home from 2014 until 2021. Each time that I visited her, I felt she was well looked after in a super friendly environment. The staff were always helpful and often went out of their way to provide advice and information. I know that my aunt was extremely happy at the home and really
enjoyed getting involved with the activities. Since the Covid-19 restrictions, I have become more and more impressed with the actions taken by the home, the care taken, and specifically the amazing communication. I received regular emails from the staff and the manager outlining actions taken with constant updates on the health of my aunt, the residents and staff. I could not have wanted better advice, information or help. Following the death of my aunt, once again, the staff acted in the most caring and sensitive manner; the comments about her for the eulogy for her funeral were very touching. As I live in Belgium, I have been unable to visit the home since my aunt's death. The staff, and particularly the manager, have all gone over and above what would normally be expected to help me with the necessary arrangements.

Both of my parents were residents; my dad for a month and my mother for 5 months before they died. The care they received was excellent, I couldn’t have wished for anything better. Both were very happy there.
It was a huge relief to know they were safe, comfortable and very well cared-for.

My mother spent the last 3 of her 90 years here and was extremely happy there. When it became obvious that we could no longer care for her within the family, a move to this home was our first choice. The staff, both carers and management, continually demonstrated the genuine care they have for residents.
She was always treated with dignity, respect and above all compassion and kindness. She quickly made new friends and joined in the stimulating activities, her interest in knitting was reignited and she greatly enjoyed group projects. The level of cleanliness, laundry provision, and the choice of high qualify food was excellent. She felt really at home, while her needs were always provided for, not just to the highest professional standard but always with great love and kindness. I will always be grateful for the care my mother received particularly at the end of her life and the support which was shown to me at such a difficult time. My heartfelt thanks to everyone.

I recently placed Mum at Warrington Lodge, as her previous sheltered housing was no longer meeting her needs owing to her cognitive decline from Alzheimers. I also wanted to move her closer to me. My decision followed a couple of visits to Warrington Lodge to view their facilities, accommodation, and
to discuss Mum's care needs with the regional manager and head of care. Mum has now been resident there for over two weeks and I couldn't be more relieved and grateful for the support Warrington Lodge is providing to Mum. Aside from a well-designed, safe and bright home, there is a beautiful self-contained garden, two lounges, spacious hallways and the place is impeccably clean throughout. The entire care team and management treat Mum as if nothing is too much trouble. Of particular note, they are responsive to Mum's medical and mental needs and keep me informed about how Mum is doing. Everyone has been so kind to Mum and helped her to settle in, eat well, and develop a contented life. I highly recommend this home.

My wife was at this home for four and a half years. During that time I managed to have a lunch with her in the main dining room, most Wednesdays and Sundays. I always found the food excellent and the staff courteous and pleasant. The home put on events and visits to help and make the residents stay
interested and to help and fill, what could be a dull day. If anything happened to me I personally would be happy for my family to put me in this home. During the latter time, as my wife slipped back a little at times, I have had lunch on the man's table rather than wake my wife up. The home did offer to put a table in my wife's room, but it was my choice to have my meal this way. My wife was 96 years of age when she died, the home informed us early enough so we could all visit her and say our goodbye. I have always found them caring for the residents and us as her family.

My family have been very happy with the excellent care provided by the whole staff. From the moment we first visited back in June 2016, we were, and have been, very satisfied with the environment, the professional approach by staff. The care given and the attention given to individuals has been excellent.
13 staff attended Mum's funeral - this speaks volumes.

To us as a family, Warrington Lodge is first class. My aunty lived here for 7 years. She was the longest running resident since her passing last month. In this time, the staff were kind, caring and treated her with utmost dignity and respect. They helped make her life more comfortable and tolerable
and nothing was too much trouble.


The home is beautifully decorated and has a well-kept garden with shrubs, water fountains and a fish pond. A well thought out daily activity programme is organised and Aunty was able to choose to participate if she so wished. A three-course meal was provided each day and Aunty was encouraged to sit and talk to other residents which she really loved.


We looked at many care homes but Warrington Lodge was definitely the right choice. Aunty was very happy, well looked after and we cannot thank them enough. A truly amazing team. Thank you, Warrington Lodge, for the warmth and love that you gave her over the years. We cannot recommend this place enough.

My mother has been living at Warrington Lodge since November and has settled in very well. After a pretty rough year, it was a relief to find such a wonderful home. The care is second to none, all the staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble. They are exceptionally kind and compassionate
towards the residents and treat them with respect. It is a very happy atmosphere and the staff always manage to lift my spirits! The home is very light and benefits from a very well kept garden in the centre of the building that all the residents are able to access. The residents can sit in little alcoves overlooking the garden if they wish or they can sit in the foyer and watch the goings-on. They have a varied activity schedule too which they can choose to partake in if they wish. Mum enjoys the food and the cakes especially!
I looked at many homes before Warrington Lodge and I made the right decision for my mother without a doubt. I am so glad that they had a room available.

My aunt wasn't keen to move to a care home, but Warrington Lodge is quite exceptional, and staff won her round quite quickly through their kindness and good humour. She spent the final five years of her life there, with much happiness and laughter, surrounded by genuine affection.
Staff are well
trained to support residents with dementia in a sympathetic and reassuring way. The design of the home makes it easy for residents to find their way; the quiet spaces and alcoves offer different places to sit and it is always possible to see outside. My aunt loved that there was a cat she could befriend - just like her own home. Warrington Lodge doesn't have glossy brochures or make big claims about outings, but there is genuine respect for residents and staff make a real effort to create good moments and good days. My aunt stayed mobile until fairly recently; when she needed assistance, it was given with dignity. I'm grateful for all the warmth and love she was given over the years.

Overall this home is a friendly and caring home. Attention to detail is lacking in several areas including cleanliness of residents rooms, ensuring hearing aid batteries are charged and adequate clean clothes being available.
However, my mother's needs seem well cared for on a day to day basis and
complaints are taken seriously by management.

This home has provided a safe and comfortable home for me. I have Vascular Dementia and very poor eyesight so I need a lot of help with daily personal and practical tasks.
The carers here are cheerful and patient they are permanent staff so the faces are familiar not strangers suddenly appearing. I
am encouraged to join other residents for meals and activities but if I don't feel like it I can always stay in my own room.
My daughter is allowed to bring her dog in to see me and that is lovely.

I'm extremely happy with the care that is given to my father here. Any information about my father ie Doctors, Hospital, is given to me by the care manager promptly by phone. My father is cared for with dignity and compassion. When visiting my father, I'm always greeted warmly and an update on my father
(if not visited for a few days) is given to me. When talking to the home's manager about the care needs of my father, the home's manager talked me through each step and was so caring and amazing. I would recommend Claremont to anyone friends/family as this home was my first and only choice for my father. Thank you,.

My duaghter who lived nearby introduced me to this home. I was impressed by the rooms and service. Management and staff are very helpful. My room is quite spacious with toilet and shower. Meal times are regular and tasteful food. Residents seem happy and are mostly friendly. I have plenty of free time
with entertinament provided.

This is an excellent care home. They looked after my mother in a very caring and thoughtful manner. The staff were always cheerful and took the time to talk to my mother and to address her needs in a very considerate way.
She enjoyed the various activities provided and was very complimentary about
the food. Her room was light and airy and had a pleasant outlook over the garden.
