My wife has been a resident at Springfield House since 9 October 2023.
Her care, wellbeing and encouragement to participate in activities have been exemplary. From all levels of staff there is an ethos of kindness, caring and thoughtfulness. When we go out to family "get together," they always ensure
my wife's appearance is smart and activity ask her if she had an enjoyable day, what was she doing, had to eat and any special reason for going out. Our family's appreciation of the effort made and knowing she is being well looked after gives us assurance during a difficult family time.

We all are so happy my grandma has been put in a home as good as this one. We feel so safe and secure knowing she is so well looked after. The home itself is immaculate. The staff are fantastic.

I have a lot of issues with Springfield House, short-staffed day and night, meals are not nutritious. My mom does not like them at all. Staff that cannot be understood by the elderly. (Quite a language barrier). Mum waited an hour and a half for the toilet. (Understaffed). Supposed to take two staff
and stand aid, usually only one. Left all night in her vomit with no emergency buzzer as no one checked on her until the morning. This is supposed to have been looked into by the manager and I feel it's all been covered up.

Staff very friendly always seem pleasant and smile and greet you when you come in to visit and answer any questions you have and seem to go out of there way to help the residents always something on for residents to get involved in like exercises class singers coffee mornings etc

The staff at Springfield House are an absolute credit to providing care to those who need it the most. Nothing is ever too much to ask and their jobs are carried out with professionalism, care and love. I'm so grateful to all the staff. From the minute you enter, everyone is courteous and kind. I continue to be happy with the care my mum receives. The staff who deliver the actual care and support to my mum in particular are very good. Many are excellent. If I had a criticism at all, it would be with a feeling of loss of morale with the care and cleaning staff of late. It is my opinion that
they need to be valued by senior management and retained. They are the ones who I feel need to be commended.

The care given to residents of Springfield House is truly wonderful, everyone strives to be truly kind, caring and mindful of everyone's individual needs.
All the residents are treated with love, kindness, respect and dignity.
My husband was in Springfield for almost 2 years, sadly he passed away
in December 2024 after suffering a stroke. The end-of-life care given to him was amazing, as well as looking after my husband, myself and my family, were treated with empathy and compassion by all members of the staff. God bless them all, truly wonderful, thank you all.

I love the care home and staff that my Grandma is in. We always feel welcome and I feel like Grandma is always looked after well. The staff can have a good joke with her, as well as the care side they do. I've been there when they've had entertainment on and have thought that's is great for the residents
and I enjoyed it as well.

My sister has resided in Springfield for almost 3 years. The initial settlement was not too good, but she soon after settled and has been happy for much of her time. She describes her new home as "I love it here, I am so happy.". The family are comforted by her situation now. The staff are first class
- we are thankful for their caring natures. We would not hesitate to recommend Springfield to anyone.

I can't thank the staff enough for the exceptional care they provide for both my parents. They not only provide the required level of care, but their patience, understanding and the fondness they have shown towards my parents is heartwarming and a great comfort to all my family.

It is very hard to decide that a care home is the best place for your relatives, and worry whether you have found the right place.
Springfield impressed us on our first visit. Very friendly staff, large light airy rooms for residents and lovely big common areas, a nice landscaped garden, and a wide
variety of activities and trips on offer. The staff are really good with the residents, really kind and supportive and treat them with kindness and dignity. They are also kind, caring and supportive to the family members as we have gone through some very sad, difficult times.
Their advice is also helpful as we navigate this tricky time, trying to do our best for our parents but not always sure what that is.
It is nice to know our relatives are safe and well looked after, having good fun, good food, good laughs and an all-round much better quality of life than was possible to achieve at home.
Time spent with parents is now quality time.
I would highly recommend this care home.

My dad is very happy at Springfield House Care Home, he came to live here in April 2024, his mood and physical health have improved dramatically. It's lovely to know he is well looked after. My only criticism would be staffing levels aren't always ideal, particularly when staff have lots of dependent
clients. Despite this, I find them, without exception, friendly, helpful and caring.

As a Health Care Professional, Dawn has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked in the care sector for many years, Dawn closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Dawn remarked:


“It is great seeing a service grow and improve, working with Colleagues to develop in their careers and making Residents feel part of a big family and having a say in their care.”


Dawn has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievements being losing a significant amount and participating in an empowering photoshoot to celebrate!


Outside of work, Dawn enjoys holidaying in her caravan off the boarders of Scotland and spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
