Springfield House is one big happy family. Staff are helpful, caring and supportive. Making visitors welcome, family are included in resident's care. Each resident has individualised care to meet their needs. I would recommend Springfield House to anyone looking for excellent high-quality care for an
elderly relative where you know they are well cared for 24 hours a day, giving all the family peace of mind.

My father moved to Springfield House in early September. His suite is lovely all the staff are very caring and helpful and he has settled in quickly and happily which is of enormous relief to me. I would not hesitate in recommending this care home. The Orangery, reception and quiet lounges have the
feel of a luxury hotel and all visitors are made to feel very welcome.

My mam was in respite from 27/04/19 - 11/05/19 in Springfield House and the manager and all staff give her all the dedicated care and attention possible. She absolutely loved Springfield and everyone there.
If in the future, my mam needed to go into care permanently, Springfield House is the only place
I would consider as the manager and all staff are brilliant.

My mother was recently a resident in the home receiving respite care for 5 weeks. Everything about the home is excellent. The management and staff are superb and the level of care and support is first class. Everyone connected with the home is friendly and professional, which played a significant
part in my mother's rehabilitation. The food and facilities are excellent, with a wide choice of nutritional meals available. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. the atmosphere in the home is very welcoming and everyone has a smile on their face. All friends and family who visited were equally impressed. I can wholeheartedly recommend this home.

I was very pleased with the standard of the home, the staff were excellent with mum and all the staff including laundry and cleaning.
They gave mum a lot of support especially when she was nearing the end of her life. The staff did a lovely buffet for mum after the funeral. Praise to staff.

I was very pleased with the home especially all the staff upstairs and down. They were really good with mum and we felt she was looked after. Mums funeral was especially nice, the buffet was lovely and all the staff stood outside which even the undertaker commented on as she hadn't seen that before.
The
staff were exceptional.

I am in my seventies, live alone and have no family. When I knew that I was to have a total hip replacement, I chose to go to Springfield House for respite care, spending two weeks there was the best decision I could have made. The care that I received was second to none and without doubt, has hastened
my recovery. Should I have surgery in the future, I will, without doubt, be back at Springfield House for postoperative care.

My first impression of Springfield House as I walked into the foyer was that it was a warm, inviting and friendly environment.
My initial impression remained throughout my mother's stay and I would certainly recommend Springfield House to any friend or relative who is requiring time to recover from
an accident/illness.
Knowing a loved one is being cared for in a clean, safe home in a dignified manner takes a huge weight off your mind.

My Aunt was very happy in Springfield House. It is very well run and the staff are very caring and welcoming. We never had any concerns whatsoever regarding my Aunt's care and would be happy to recommend Springfield House to anybody.

After a short stay in hospital, mother moved into Springfield House some 14 months ago having said many times she would hate to live in ‘one of those places’. My concerns, however, were very quickly put to rest as she discovered she really liked being there. She continually told me how happy she was,
how good the food was and most of all how lovely the staff were – ‘they will do anything they can to help and even suggest things’.
I have been delighted with everything, especially the brilliant staff. I was kept well informed about my mother’s wellbeing and felt totally confident that she was in very good caring hands. This has given me great peace of mind.
Unfortunately, her condition has deteriorated and she now needs nursing care, which is not provided at Springfield House, and so she has had to move elsewhere. There is absolutely no doubt that if Springfield did have a nursing facility, my mother would still be there.
Thank you to everyone for being so caring and doing so much.

Just had annual fee review of 5.5%. This can only be justified in terms of profit rather than care delivery. 5.5% represents a level far in excess of inflation or pension rises in this period. Improvements in infrastructure and service delivery do not warrant such a disproportionate increase and the
letter of explanation frankly insults one's intelligence. It is ridiculous to state investment has been made in the nurse call system to reduce anxiety caused by the noise while at the same time creating far greater levels of anxiety to residents worried about how they can afford such draconian increases in their care costs. I am disgusted that vulnerable people can be treated in such a way and at such short notice. These are not the actions of a 'kind' service.

My wife and I came to this home in February 2014. My wife was suffering from short term memory loss. I came due to my very poor mobility. As you will take note from the ticked boxes, we found everything here to be perfect for our needs.
My wife was always given loving care by dedicated staff and when
she sadly died of cancer last year, she was given loving end of life care in the home.
I have received great support from staff who became good friends from the start. My family feel that the home has provided their parents with perfect care and a safe environment in their final years. I can only endorse their view.

“To me kindness treating people as individuals, respecting views of others, promoting independence, promoting dignity and privacy. Always have a listening ear time for others.”


As a Health Care Professional, Dawn has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked in the care sector for many years, Dawn closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Dawn remarked:


“It is great seeing a service grow and improve, working with Colleagues to develop in their careers and making Residents feel part of a big family and having a say in their care.”


Dawn has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievements being losing a significant amount and participating in an empowering photoshoot to celebrate!


Outside of work, Dawn enjoys holidaying in her caravan off the boarders of Scotland and spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
