Willow Tree Lodge is a modern home which has the very best facilities available to provide residents with high quality care.

Round the clock care is provided by the warm and friendly staff, who understand the complex needs of their residents.

Outside of the home there is an outside terrace, and balcony and a conservatory for residents to enjoy spending time in. Each bedroom has been decorated and furnished to a high standard to residents feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

As well as a running many clubs, the home provides entertainment ranging from film afternoons to fitness activities for all residents to take part in.

Mum has been a resident for two and a half years and has been shown nothing but love, kindness and respect, to be honest this also applies to her family as well. Willow Tree is a comfortable, clean, friendly home with wonderful caring staff. They have visiting entertainers, craft time, karaoke, bingo
and so much more to keep residents happy and occupied. Meals as Mum says are lovely and well-presented. Overall Willow Tree is to be commended.

Kind staff. Home always clean and tidy. Lots of different daily entertainment/activities. Our mum is well looked after and cared for. Staff always happy to help with any special requests. Always happy to make a cup of tea on arrival. Food is lovely.

The atmosphere of the home is outstanding. Modern and spotlessly clean. Residents are well cared for and appear to be happy and comfortable. Excellent care given to residents and the regular activities are joyful and stimulating for everyone. Highly recommended on all levels.

When the tough realisation dawned, that Mum needed to go into a care home, I was very worried about it, and rejected many homes before I finally viewed Willow Tree Lodge. I knew the instant I walked in that I had found the right home for Mum - the staff team were so friendly, warm and kind, and engaging
with the people they cared for and their families. The atmosphere so welcoming, caring, and above all happy residents. The home is modern, safe and security conscious, well maintained, homely with lovely interiors, spotlessly clean and fresh. Before my mum sadly passed away, the team brought much laughter and happiness back into Mum's life, and made her feel extremely loved and well cared for. To see Mum smiling took a huge weight off my shoulders and I was able to become my mum's daughter again rather than her carer. The whole willow team, are truly outstanding, the home and its gardens superb - Willow is second to none, and I recommend it without any hesitation or reservation - it's amazing!

Dad has been at Willow Tree for a year and a half. All staff are friendly, kind and very caring, both to Dad and to us. They have always kept us informed of any little issues with Dad and are quick to respond to questions. Care is person-centred with dad always treated as a person with a history. Although
he struggles to communicate, staff talk to him about his former interests and share a laugh with him. Thank you to everyone at Willow Tree!

Since March 2023 I have visited at different times, when you are greeted at the door with a smile. No smells, clean and fresh, such a pleasure to see. The staff take you to the resident, have time and care. I was at the BBQ afternoon, such a happy place. The love and touch the staff give to the residents,
holding hands, the touch is so important. The rooms are beautifully cleaned, bathrooms also. A lovely dining hall and downstairs lounge, bright chairs and so comfortable. Everyone works so hard to keep these standards. The best I have ever seen.

An excellent care home with caring staff. Lots of activities for the residents to do. My sister loves her care home and can't speak highly enough. However, I do think there should be more outings if only once a month for a coffee etc or a little shopping.

This home is very good and looks after my mum very well she doesn't want to leave. The food is excellent and the entertainment (ie) bbq etc very good. The staff are always on hand to help her and very friendly even though they have a hard job to do.

My mother has been in the home for three and a half years and suffers with dementia. The staff have managed her condition with such skill and care that although she doesn’t know where she is Mum is incredibly happy and settled.
I am always kept informed of her health and changes in medication and general
wellbeing.

My mother has lived at Willow Tree Lodge for around 18 months and is very happy and settled there. The staff are kind, courteous and supportive at all times. It feels like her home not just a home.
There are lots of activities and occasional outings tailored to an individual's mobility and capacity
- I know residents have appreciated spontaneous walks or visits to the seaside.

Every member of the care staff that I had interaction with were very caring to the residents and safety was the number one issue during these times. I visited every other day so can honestly say that I spent a lot of quality time at the home.
The team work well together, under good leadership, for
the benefit of the residents and it shows. It is hard to leave a family member in new surroundings but this has been a blessing and my mother has found her ‘new home’ and is very happy, which makes us happy! A great place.

I could not be happier that my mother is in Willow Tree Lodge. Visiting is a pleasure as she’s always so full of enthusiasm. As a lifelong lover of music and dancing, she particularly loves the entertainment and is usually first on the floor! The staff are excellent, very caring and fun, she loves the
food, which is of a very high standard and the management team are great - always engaged and accessible. We have been very impressed with their handling of the difficult situation over the last 21 months or so!

My mother has been at Willow Tree Lodge for nearly 4 years. She has a lovely bedroom and is extremely happy there. The staff are very caring and attentive and she says they can't do enough for her. The chef is very good and she loves the food; of which apparently there is a choice. I wouldn't hesitate
to recommend Willow Tree Lodge as I have been very happy with my mother's treatment. They have also coped very well with the pandemic and have kept our relatives as safe as possible.

My 93-year-old mum is very comfortable and well-cared for at Willow Tree Lodge. She is in lovely surroundings and the staff are wonderful, she tells me how marvellous they are every time I see her and what a nice place it is!

Willow Tree Lodge staff team are not just a wonderful group of people, they are an extension to our family! The care and love that they give to our Mum is outstanding. Throughout the last year of covid restrictions, we have known that Mum has been extremely well cared for and loved. Her dementia needs
have been so carefully and lovingly met. She is so happy in her own world which is largely due to the stimulation and personal care of the staff team. They treat Mum as an individual and ensure that her care is highly personalized and at her own pace.
We would thoroughly recommend this care home to others as the care, love and attention to individual needs is phenomenal. A home from home and family ethos is evident throughout the whole home. We can never put into words how grateful we are to the manager and the whole team for how much they have done for Mum especially over this intense last year.

My Mother had been a resident at Willow Tree Lodge since 1st February 2016. She has a lovely garden facing room. She has been extremely happy there. The staff are absolutely amazing. So attentive and caring. The manager is an outstanding manager. Always available for a chat. So caring and kind with
the residence and always there for them. The food also is outstanding, fresh local produce. We have had many a Sunday roast with my Mother, always made welcome. So happy my Mother is a resident at Willow Tree Lodge. The manager will be sadly missed.

From the outset, when we first made an enquiry at the home, we have been so impressed with the level of care and attention from the manager and the team. This has continued from when we moved Mum in, up until the current day. The team at the home are fantastic with nothing ever being too much bother.
We cannot rate the home highly enough. Thank you to the manager and her team for everything you all do and for giving us peace of mind that Mum is receiving the very best care.

Hannah Dear

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2021

Hannah Dear is the Registered Manager and has worked in the care industry for all her adult working life spending 18 years in her previous role.  She has worked her way up from a Carer to Home Manager over this period.


During her time in the industry, Hannah has obtained a myriad of care-related qualifications, including her  Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.  She joined us in Willow Tree Lodge in September 2021 and became the Registered Manager a few months later, where we hope she will remain for a long time.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2012

Hannah Foster is one of the two Deputy Managers here at Willow Tree. She has been with us over 10 years, joining us back in 2012 as a Carer.

Loved by the residents, Hannah has proved a great asset to the home by working her way up, firstly to a Senior Carer and now the Deputy Manager.

Hannah has decided to further her qualifications by working towards her Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care and will hopefully be with us for the next 10 years.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Emma Livings has been working at Willow Tree Lodge for nine years and during this time she has gained her Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care. She has now decided to progress further and has started working towards her Level 4.


Emma joined us as a Carer back at the beginning of 2014 and has fulfilled a myriad of roles including a Team Leader, Senior Carer, Medication Lead and now one of the Deputy Managers.

Jodie has worked at Willow Tree Lodge since March 2021, she previously worked at our sister home Kiln Lodge as a Deputy Manager. Jodie has been in the care sector since 2016 but decided she preferred the HR/Admin side of the role.


Jodie has achieved her Level 4 in Adult Social Care and is currently working towards her NVQ 3 in Business Administration.


Jodie is always eager to learn new skills and is not afraid of a challenge. She is a great asset to the team.
