My parents are both at Admiral Court and have been resident since August 2021. I can't speak highly enough of the staff, the standard of care, the comfortable furnished guest rooms, and the facilities available for guests.

Our mum suffers from vascular dementia and needs 24x7 support. We visited several care homes in the area and chose Admiral Court for the high level of amenities, cleanliness, care, and support that all the staff provides. Admiral Court has dedicated activity and dementia teams that work with mum to
ensure she receives the care she needs. We have noticed a marked change in Mum's persona as a result of the support all staff have provided. Mum now calls Admiral Court her home and classifies it as her 5-star hotel! All the staff are approachable and cannot do enough to make our visits and mum's stay as pleasurable as possible. Would I recommend Admiral Court to others? I definitely would without any hesitation. Keep up the brilliant work Admiral Court and all our family appreciate all you do for mum.

My mother is living with Vascular Dementia and the family was becoming increasingly concerned about her general wellbeing, diet, and ability to take her own medication appropriately. Mum always remained fiercely independent but, after suffering a fall, she agreed to enter a care home.


Admiral Court

is a delightful place. She has made new friends, has regained a large part of her “independence” and is thoroughly enjoying the experience. As a family, we are certain that Mum is being perfectly cared for and the facilities, cleanliness, and atmosphere we have seen during visits are exemplary.

My friend has a terrible disease, C.J.D; it's a debilitating disorder and is fatal! Before my friend came to Admiral Court, she had no real quality of life; it was heartbreaking for me to see.
Now thanks to the amazing care she receives from all the wonderful staff here, from the cleaners, cooks,
activities staff, nurses, management, and everyday staff. My lovely friend will be cared for with affection and dignity.

I can't praise the staff enough for the care they have given my sister and the support they have given us as a family at a very difficult time in our lives. They go above and beyond to make life as enjoyable and comfortable for my sister. It has a lovely welcoming feeling when you enter the home and
is a pleasure to visit. I can't believe how well my sister looks and she is very content and happy in her new forever home.

Sadly our grandad recently passed away, our Nan 89 had cared for him at home without complaint, during his final years. We needed to find a home that would provide her with comfort, support, and laughter. After looking at many homes, I can honestly say that this was the perfect fit. She still has her
own privacy with a fully fitted ensuite but the reassurance that she can be assisted at any time. So many activities to choose from every day and the food is pretty amazing too. My Nan is beginning to smile again recently and is so fully deserved. Now it is Nan’s time to have some fun!

My sister became a resident in Admiral Court in July 2021 and I have nothing but praise for the staff there, not only towards my sister but us as a family. They keep us up to date on her progress and in the little time she has been there we have seen a huge change in her.
She is happy and content
in there and that is down to the staff and management. I can't thank you enough.

Nan always said she never wanted to go into a care home, but after staying here for respite care, she never wanted to leave. Admiral Court has its residents' best interests at heart. The staff are caring, friendly and it's a home from home. As a family, this has been a great place for Nan to enjoy her
latter years and would certainly recommend.

After a very stressful year, we managed to secure a place for my father in the nursing dementia unit. They made the move, very easy; they were attentive to his needs, and he was very happy there and settled well. They made the last few months of his life as comfortable as could be, especially given
the circumstances with COVID-19. My family and I especially loved how residents were not locked away, but we're able to join everyone in the bistro area. The only disappointment would be the lack of activities in the nursing wing for those with advanced dementia.

Haven't been able to see Mum often, or even regularly, due to Covid-19 restrictions - which is very upsetting. But I know she is safe and receiving very good care. She seems to be settling into her new 'upstairs' situation - and seems possibly a bit happier there. She has mood swings but the staff know
her well now and know what helps her.

My friend has been in this home for over 6 years. I cannot speak too highly of the care and help she has received. A great deal of appreciation must go to the dedicated staff where kindness and affection goes a long way. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The nurses are very kind also and any query
I have is quickly dealt with. I visit every day and see a lot of care and it really is a pleasure to see it so clean and all the residents looking clean and tidy.

Can only describe Admiral Court as wonderful. My loved one is looked after so well. Safe and clean and eating well now. As for the staff and carers here you couldn't find a more welcoming place. Everyone says hello and deals with any concerns that you have. Love the coffee shop where I can take mum
and sit and talk to her. Would recommend this care home to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their loved one to be looked after.

The home has a lovely atmosphere about it. All the residents seem very happy - testament in itself that they are well looked after. The home has recently undergone a full refurbishment which has raised an already high standard. My father has settled in well. There is lots of social and private areas
allowing family and friends to enjoy spending time with each other.

A warm, friendly atmosphere, caring environment. Could be improved with extra personal care checks but all in my mother has always been treated with lots of love. Even when you can see staff are busy they always take time to give mum a friendly chat and cuddle.

In February our mother was bought to Admiral Court to live as clearly she was unable to manage at home alone after our father died. The home ticked all the boxes for her and so well looked after and cared for.
Excellent staff who clearly love their jobs and the excellent care of looking after the residents.
