The staff here have been amazing with my mum. She is always really well presented. I know that my mum enjoys their kindness and humour. The home itself is always clean. The food is (apparently) great. I would recommend this to others for sure.

The staff were extremely helpful from the start. An appointment the very next day after the initial phone call. My mother (at 100-years-old) has settled quite well and has no difficulties settling in so far. All of the family agree she is in the right place.

Herald Lodge is an excellent care home with dedicated, caring staff. My mother has been looked after expertly throughout the last 18 months, especially during the pandemic. We are so pleased she is in such a wonderful, safe place. We cannot recommend it more highly. Thank you.

In these unprecedented times, I feel the home and management have acted in the best interest of my mum first. Whenever possible the home has respected our situation and thoughts. I feel the home has reacted well to the current situation in protecting all inside the home and external visits to hospital
appointments. The home is caring and keeps us well informed. I feel that my mum is being looked after very well and that she is in the right place.

Under the circumstances, at this present time, I think management for the home have done very well in protecting Mum and ourselves. Care for Mum is very good and keep us all well informed of all situations. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Herald Lodge is a very friendly environment for my mother. Staff are always helpful and courteous. They have done their best to ensure my mother is well cared for, this has been especially noticed during the difficult times of Covid.

My sister is and always has been very happy here. The staff are very kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. If we have a problem it is dealt with immediately. I can phone up at any time to enquire how my sister is. Up until lockdown I could visit at any time without notice.

My dad went to Herald Lodge in November 2019; the staff and management have been amazing. My dad and his room were always clean and tidy; it was a comfort to know he was being well looked after. Thank you to everyone at Herald Lodge for all the help and support during the 18-months that my dad slowly
deteriorated from Alzheimer's, unit he finally passed peacefully in February 2021.

My husband had been a resident in Herald Lodge since October 2019. He was looked after with loving care during his time there. Unfortunately, he passed away on 7th Feb 2021. I cannot fault the care and attention he received and the kindness of the staff to myself and family. They are amazing.

I cannot speak highly enough of this care home. My husband was a resident for three weeks giving me a needing much care break from him, having dementia is tough. The staff treated him with love, kindness and respect. Nothing was too much trouble and I wasn't left out either, so I appreciate the staff
so much. I really need to thank two carers in particular for their dedication and patience for him. From the moment you step foot in the home, there is a pleasant atmosphere and no unpleasant odours, If stars were being handed out, I would give this home one made up of platinum, Thank you and take care.

My nan has been in the care home 5 years now and I have to say the fact she is still with us is largely down to the exceptional care that she has received from the staff at Herald Lodge. I can't thank them enough especially with lockdown it has meant we have not been able to see her in over 4 months
but I had every confidence based on her previous care she was going to be well cared for and I'm so thankful for the staff for their dedication because I was right. Every member of staff is amazing with her, they treat her like she is one of their own family members. The staff are so respectful of her and her condition and even in her early days in the home, they took the time to get to know her and learn what she was like as a person before getting dementia which really meant a lot to me because it meant they could use the elements of her life in her day to day care. Everything about his home is an A** I can't recommend it enough for a loved one as the care and compassion is unquestionable.
