My pal has been a resident at Coppice Lodge for two years now and overall he has had good care. The food is good and he has flourished despite choosing his own company over others'! Every time I visit (weekly), he looks better and has gained weight. Well done Coppice Lodge!

Very pleased with Coppice Lodge. Mum's care is excellent and meets her needs. She is treated with dignity and respect, and all her medical needs are dealt with promptly.

My Auntie has only been in Coppice Lodge for a few weeks and she has settled in and really enjoys living there. The staff are all lovely and nothing is too much trouble. She enjoys the activities and finds her room very comfortable.

The staff have been magic, as we have travelled halfway around the world we were allowed to use the cinema room for our visit. Food and drink were provided, which was great. All staff very helpful.

My mum moved into Coppice Lodge last year and has settled really well. They were helpful in getting a room that suited Mum's needs. All the staff are very caring, and friendly and as a visitor I feel very welcomed. They have listened to any concerns I have regarding Mum. Mum enjoys the good food and
activities that take place. It always feels like a very happy and friendly place from the welcome as you first come in, to speaking to any of the carers, the kitchen and housekeeping staff do an amazing job.

Mum tells me she’s had a very pleasant stay. Everyone’s been very nice and kind and she would be happy to come and stay again. This has been a welcome development because Mum doesn’t usually like to go away from home and doesn’t like assistance from carers.

My mum stayed at Coppice Lodge for respite care. It was a difficult decision for the family but all of the staff were understanding, caring and friendly. Mum's mobility improved during her stay. I don't think we would have got mum home without Coppice Lodge's help and care. We are now aware of how much
work your carers do, its a very difficult and demanding job. However, the staff always greet you with a smile and kind encouraging words. Thanks to everyone working at Coppice Lodge.

This was our first experience of the care home and it was very welcoming. The atmosphere is warm, positive, happy and full of life. The staff were extremely engaging and it's clear they care about all the residents. We left knowing our mother is in the best place possible and all her care needs are
more than taken care of. It was an extremely reassuring experience.

I am so impressed with this fantastic care home, my mum was treated as an individual, her likes, dislikes and her personal requirements have been taken on. It feels like a caring hotel with lots of activities happening, lovely use of all the spaces, dining areas, garden, coffee lounge etc. There is

I found Coppice Lodge Care Home a clean and friendly environment with lots of staff in attendance who were very caring towards my mum.
It would have been helpful to realise that payment was to be made upfront and not to have been contacted later on the same day of Mum's arrival, necessitating a further
visit that day.

“I really enjoy organising the activities and entertainment for the residents and seeing how much they enjoy the experiences.”


Angela has worked with Ideal Carehomes as Front of House Manager since October 2015. She has a wealth of experience in the care sector, starting her journey as Night Care Assistant in 1994 and progressing to a Senior Night Care Assistant for a Lincolnshire-based company, where she gained her NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. In 2004, Angela decided to broaden her skills in the domiciliary care industry and worked as Deputy Care Manager, where she gained her Registered Manager’s Award. She then became an NVQ Assessor and gained her A1 and V1 qualifications.


In her role at Coppice Lodge, Angela is a welcoming and familiar face to family and friends visiting the home. She likes nothing more than liaising with prospective residents and assisting them from initial enquiry to moving into their new home. Angela works closely with the Home Manager and Regional Activities Executive to arrange regular and exciting activities for the residents, including a ‘Social Saturday’ event which takes place each week in the brand new café area at home.
