My sister has just stayed at Alternative House respite for the first time and has thoroughly enjoyed herself. She is significantly disabled and has needed a lot of attention which she has obviously received. The manager and staff we met are very friendly, very caring and obviously dedicated to providing
an excellent service. My sister can't wait to go again. Thank you very much to the manager and your team.

My uncle was recently placed here after months of struggling at home with no real help. As it was the first time he had been in residential care we were very wary of making sure it was the right place for him. We needn’t have worried, the transition was smooth thanks to the owner and staff there who
really took the time out to get to know him and spent hours with him talking about the army, putting him and the family completely at ease. They very quickly identified that he needed assessments for various things which had totally been overlooked by his GP and were very quick to set these up. We had lots of communication from the home advising us on how he had been during the days and nights and asking us questions so they could make sure they understood his needs fully. Both my family and uncle are thoroughly pleased with the care he has been given.

Although my brother has only been in a few weeks, he seems to have settled well. He likes all the staff I have met, and I feel that he is being looked after properly, and with respect. It has put my mind at ease.

Outstanding care home. First impressions are very welcoming. All tastefully furnished and no smells. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner. All the staff are so dedicated, kind and patient. The call buzzer is always responded to very quickly. Extremely high standard of care. Everything is run very
professionally. It's amazing that the price is on the lower side of care home fees and the standard is so high. The lounge is sea facing and has French doors and a large balcony. All the rooms have an ensuite. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a care home.

My brother has been residing here for six years.
The care and compassion that the staff and owner have is amazing.
My brother had been quite ill on two occasions recently and the attention of care given to him was tremendous as a full recovery was made.
I cannot praise this home and the team enough.

A friend of mine that lived abroad returned to the UK with health issues and with financial difficulties.
Without the help of the owner of the Feng Shui House Care Home, none of this would have been possible. She went out of her way, providing for my friend train tickets, clothes etc. out of her own
pocket!
All the staff are caring and very professional towards the residents, the care home is very clean as expected and I was kept up to date with any changes that were taking place.
I am very grateful to everyone at the care home for making my friend very welcome and taking care of him.

Feng Shui House Care Home was the care home we chose but is more than a care home. The owner goes above and beyond and that continues through the staff. Everything from the way they treat the patients to how they support the family has been nothing but fantastic. Our family member didn't really want
to go in a care home and now loves it due to how well he's been treated. Everywhere is clean. Any questions they answer. I would suggest anyone looking at a home for their relative go and take a look at Feng Shui you won't be disappointed. I can't thank them enough for all that they have done. Also, I have to say that through covid they have been outstanding. Plus every resident is not a number but treated as a person with dignity and respect. With their wishes put in place at all times. Again thank you from the whole family.

The manager and her team provide excellent care worked hard with Covid, and deserve a pat on the back for everything they have been through as a care home provider. The home is spotless, can't fault it at all and the staff are well mannered. The manager does have a dedicated team and they shouldn't
have to put up with everything they have for the last 12 months.


Sadly, my mum passed away and it was good to know that someone was with her at that moment. I can't fault this home in any way and would use the home again.

An elderly relative I was looking after went into respite care to give me a break for a couple of weeks, having done overnight respites there previously. I am really glad I found Feng Shui House, the standard of care and attention she got was second to none, and always seemed happy when I arrived to

My aunt has been cared for by Feng Shui House for many years now and has spent time in both the Blackburn and Blackpool homes. The provision of care from both management and staff is excellent and demonstrates the whole ethos of Feng Shui perfectly. Although we have not been able to visit regularly
during the pandemic, we have received constant communication with regard to my aunt's wellbeing and care provision/planning. The standard of cleanliness within the home is evident upon entering and shows as a testament to how hard the staff and management work to create this safe, caring and effectively run care home.


Both my family and I firmly believe that my aunt would not be with us today had it not been for the manager and Feng Shui and we are very happy with the whole provision and the individual care given to her. We could not imagine her being cared for by anyone else and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Feng Shui to anyone looking for care for their loved ones.

Dad settled instantly in this quality care home. The level of care cannot be faulted, provided by well-trained staff who are a pleasure to deal with. The home is very well maintained, is beautifully appointed and is spotlessly clean. Facilities include a resident bar/dining area, communal lounges and
en-suite bedrooms. I would not hesitate in recommending the home to anyone who is looking for quality, dedicated care in a lovely warm environment.

I have been in both Feng Shui House Care Homes to stay and cannot fault any aspect of the care they provide. Even more so now we are being victimised, they have given us full support. We as a couple had both vaccines and were violently ill. We chose not to have the Booster, countless safeguarding's
were put in on my husband yet I am his POA for both Health and Finances, he is in the early stages of Dementia. He can still speak for himself and has declined this offer. The food is excellent the Care is second to none, I am so grateful for the support shown to me and my husband by the owner and the team, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot praise their support enough, I don't know what I would have done without this support.

My Brother-in-Law has settled into the home after going there from a home that closed down. The Manager and staff have always been courteous and helpful when I have got in touch. They have also kept me informed about things appertaining to him. He seems very happy there although with the pandemic I
have not been able to see him, however, I have had a report from a social worker who says he seems well and happy and loves the food.

My Aunt has settled in well, very happy on our visits. The Home has always kept us informed at all times, also due to the Covid we can only phone and are always treated well and let us when possible talk to her. Content they are looking after her.

Excellent care providers for Mum. She is well cared for and more importantly safe.
During Covid, regular updates are given and I am kept up to date with changes to visiting arrangements.
The home itself is clean and well presented, all staff are caring and attentive. Activities have been suspended
due to Covid.
