Feng Shui House Care Home feels more like at hotel than a care home. It is always clean and fresh. The staff are lovely and very kind to the residents. Nothing seems to much trouble. My mother-in-law praises the staff very highly. The food is also very good. The management has also been helpful and
efficient and has handled a stressful situation really well, putting the family at ease.

I believe it to be a well-run establishment. The staff are particularly kind, caring and welcoming when we visit. The living areas are clean, warm and bright. The bedroom is a good size and well furnished. We have noted that the staff work very hard and provide everyone with social activities and conversation.
Having an in-house hairdresser all adds to a general feeling of well-being.

We first the manager prior to my mother's admission. She ended up being admitted as an emergency and every single member of staff has been fantastic. I cannot fault anything and I am so very grateful for the excellent care she is receiving. Fabulous location, lovely clean and friendly place to stay.

My Mother died from cancer, aged 90, in September. My Father needed quality, long-term, professional care. Feng Shui House offered exactly what he wanted. I was delighted with the assessment and care offered to my Father. Feng Shui House Care Home offers everything people need to create a fine quality
of life. It is expertly managed and manned by one of the hardest working, proficient, determined team of staff I have ever seen. Everyone is a professional; everyone is proud to serve; everyone respects and cares for their guests. There is no second best here. This first class facility also offers excellent value for money.


As for the food, it surpasses most four star restaurants.


Facilities include en-suite lavatories and bathing amenities, flat screen remote control televisions, a quiet T.V. lounge with sea view, a lift service and a hairdressing parlour. There are regular bus and tram services available, on the sea front, opposite the home.


It doesn't get better than this.

My mother in law arrived in April 2016 having been asked to leave her previous home after 48 hours without having been found any alternative arrangements. I initially phoned the manager for advice, but she came to our house immediately, assessed my mother in law and agreed to take her. My mother in
law was shown nothing but care and compassion throughout her stay, even though she often behaved in an agitated or aggressive manner. Feng Shui House Care Home was immediately and continuously proactive about obtaining the correct balance of medication to manage her behaviour but unfortunately had to wait 7 weeks before the "Rapid" Intervention Team (RIT) finally arrived during which time my mother in law's behaviour had deteriorated further. We have nothing but praise for the way she was treated. The home is well appointed, well run and a very pleasant environment in which to stay. All staff were friendly, professional and caring and we remain grateful for everyone for their help and dedication.

Researching and visiting many Care homes for our Uncle, we came across Feng Shui House. The home has a very warm atmosphere the residents all happy listening to music and chatting, spotlessly clean and very organised. All the staff have been patient, caring, professional and very understanding with
Uncle's hearing, visual impairment and help with his daily living activities. We cannot stress what an improvement from the last care home our Uncle had been placed in. It was a traumatic time for our Uncle and family to deal with. Feng Shui care of the Manager and her dedicated team has given our Uncle a safe dignified caring place to live promoting his independence and provides Holistic care for each individual at their time of need.
Our Uncle is now looking forward to moving into their new Feng Shui House at Blackburn to be closer to his loving family. Although he will miss all the staff here at Feng Shui South promenade, residents and his lovely sea view room.

5 star service and immaculately clean. Looked at many care homes and this was the best by far.
Staff go over and beyond with service and helpfulness. Nothing is too much trouble. My father-in-law has only been in the home for 2 weeks and from not wanting to leave his home he now doesn't want to go
home!

My mother spent the last months of her life there. her care was done with kindness and respect and we could not ask for more.The home was clean tidy and always smelt nice. It is more like a hotel than a care home. We know mum preferred this home to some others she had tried.

Iv'e no doubt after visiting several care homes in the last 10 yrs that the Feng Shui is a shining example a of 5* care facility, from the nutritious & varied choice of food, to the absolute spacious luxurious spotless rooms,.This care home looks and feels more like a 5* hotel and (as is often the
case) does not have... 'that smell'. It's luxurious yet homely place in every sense of the word. Staff seem to treat the residents as if their own treasured relative. The staff here are so caring and professional (they even have a top class resident hairdresser). The views from the home, of the setting sun over the sea are so beautiful in the evenings. Blackpool people, you are very very fortunate to have such a high standard care home. Superb just superb.

Feng Shui House looked after my father for the last two and a half years. I cannot praise them highly enough - they gave him a safe, dignified and very caring place to live. He enjoyed himself and would often tell me how well he was looked after and how good the food and care was that he was receiving.
He enjoyed the companionship, the bar and the activities - particularly music and dancing. The mix of residents in the home is very good and all the staff form a stable staff group which is professional and caring. We found the perfect home for my father - thank you.

As a minister of religion (now retired) I have visited many care/nursing homes of different types over a wide area and many years. This home is among the most welcoming and open to visitors, extremely hospitable and nothing to hide. The staff are without exception pleasant with both residents and visitors
and deal kindly with the odd disturbance by either. Enquiries by telephone or unscheduled visits have always been dealt with patiently and effectively. All areas I have seen have been clean and well ordered. Residents appear happy and generally well cared for.

Beautiful place. They actually do have caring staff. I am a big lady so need extra help. They are so patient with me. Food is lovely. They put me in the company of others who can chat. My room is very big with shower and a sea view.
