Parker Meadows is a beautiful, purpose-built care home, offering high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care. The dedicated and passionate team empowers residents to live fulfilling lives.

Furnished to the very highest of standards, it offers a homely yet luxurious environment, with all residents having en-suite rooms. The home offers excellent facilities, including a hair and beauty salon and bright café, perfect for residents and their families. Externally, there are beautifully landscaped sensory gardens.

Parker Meadows also has six bungalows for residents who want to retain their independence, whilst still enjoying the facilities and services provided in the main building of the care home.

My father moved into Gracewell August 2018. The attention to detail, the care home itself, the kindness and professionalism of the staff exceeded all my fathers and my expectations, so much so that I have recently moved my aunt into the same home from a local care home. Personally, one thing that sets
this care home apart from every other I have visited is the team, from the management, carers, receptionists, in fact, everybody involved in this home. The kindness, love and dignity is way beyond what I thought was possible.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone who is looking for exceptional extraordinary value for money, care for their loved ones and relatives.

Very pleased with the care my father received. The staff were very caring and attentive and the nursing staff very professional and diligent. Communication was excellent at all times. Lovely surroundings. Dad was happy and content during his stay. I would recommend Gracewell.

I can only praise everyone who came in contact with Mum. Such amazing support during her time at Gracewell of Fareham.
To:
Her Nursing Team - they were always in support of my worries too.
The Care team - please be proud of your companionship and care.
The Housekeeping Team and Personal Grooming
Services - always a smile and nothing to much trouble; encouraging Mum to maintain pride in herself.
The Catering Team - Arriving at Gracewell immediately from a long stay in hospital, Mum had no appetite; so to see her gaining weight, recovering and maintaining her strength was a great result.
Events - Mum was always one for keeping to herself, so although the Events Organiser worked tirelessly I suspect Mum may have been a lost cause; in the last 20 years my wife and I managed to have her accept only twice an invitation out for a tea and cake.
Maintenance Team - for keeping the services Mum enjoyed in working order.
...although an informal closing...to all - a big hug, smiles and wet eyes...

My father was resident at Gracewell for just over a month for end of life dementia and medical care.
In this time he received excellent first rate care, provided by a strong and compassionate team.
A moving example of this was after my father had passed away; being a devout Roman Catholic, one of
the nurses was kind and thoughtful enough to place the crucifix, that had been hanging above his bed, in his hand.
A simple act of kindness which meant the world to his wife and family.

I am a carer for my brother-in-law, but following my replacement knee operation I was unable to carry out the necessary care he required, therefore the only option was to place him in respite. Reviewing a number of care homes, I came across Gracewell Healthcare. The reviews were very good and their
website provided all the information I needed and when I contacted them they were extremely helpful and their medical assessment covered all the necessary requirements you would expect from a professional care home. On visiting Gracewell of Fareham the staff were very friendly, professional and I found they had everything to give me the confidence my brother-in-law would receive the continuing 24/7 care to ensure he would be comfortable and have the medical treatment he needed. The facilities in Gracewell of Fareham are excellent with an atmosphere and environment different from many other care home providers. It's bright decor give the feeling of a five-star hotel. Rooms have everything to ensure comfort.

I am so glad we opted for Gracewell to take care of mom as the carers and nurses are very caring and helpful and mom has settled in so well. Having had a previous bad experience at another home, we were afraid she wouldn't like Gracewell but each time we see her now she says how nice it is. Mom recently
went on an outing organised by Gracewell and loved every minute of the trip, so much that we have put her name down for another one later this month.

The assessment placers were quick and efficient leading to a smooth admission. The room is nice, like a hotel room. Plenty of staff, all of whom are helpful and charming. I am confident that my wife is receiving excellent care, kindness and consideration. I am delighted that we chose Gracewell.

I am absolutely delighted with the care my Mother received by everyone at Gracewell. All the staff were kind, polite, jolly and lovely in every way I am so very very happy that my Mother went there as a broken distressed elderly woman and left after 2 months a different person. She received nothing
but kindness and has left saying she would be very happy to return so thank you Gracewell from the bottom of my heart.

My Mum went there for end of life care. Unfortunately, she died just one week later but during that week, we saw some of the kindest and most caring staff we have seen anywhere. The kindness and care were also extended to us, her family, and helped us all at a very difficult time. The food offered was
amazing - although pureed, it was still very tasty and helped Mum to eat better. A fantastic place with fantastic staff. Thank you.

My wife and I were fortunate that her Mother spent the last 11 months of her life at Gracewell of Fareham. The care she received from all the staff from the administration team to the nursing staff was simply superb. After visiting her we could return home knowing that she was being looked after by
caring considerate staff who treated her with dignity but also as a friend. She was happy and referred to Gracewell as her home, a testament to the manner in which the home is run. Sadly she passed away just before Christmas 2018 but knowing she was so happy there has given us comfort. We will miss visiting Gracewell as we too had a warm relationship with both staff and other residents.

My father has very recently moved into a bungalow at Gracewell. As a family, we feel assured that we really have made the right choice. As my father who has dementia does not currently need a high level of care he can live more independently in a bungalow but at the same time, we know that he is safe
and is being monitored. When the time comes for him to have more care, he will benefit from being in the familiar surroundings of the home. The relevant staff have gone out of their way to make his move as smooth as possible; nothing has been too much trouble and he has been/is being treated with compassion respect and understanding.

The Nursing staff, carers and associated staff at Gracewell of Fareham provided an excellent level of care to my mother during the final month of her life. The Clinical Nurses ensured that she was provided with the right level of palliative care and pain relief, while the Care Assistants assisted to
make her as comfortable as possible as well as showing great compassion and respect towards her. Nothing seems to be too much to ask of any of the staff there. I am pleased that she was able to find such a wonderful nursing home and as a family, we felt that it was one of the best decisions we could have made on her behalf.

All the staff at Gracewell of Fareham come across as being very caring and attentive and are always doing their best to satisfy my mother's requests. The building has a very pleasant ambience and my mother's room is very nice. The food looks good and there seems to be a range of activities for residents
to participant in. The nursing staff appear very knowledgeable at looking after my mother's condition. We currently have no complaints about any aspects of the service provided by Gracewell and would recommend it to others.
Overall we feel my mother is being treated with dignity.

After my mum was admitted to hospital for the 4th time in 3 months we decided the next step forward was a care home for her.
Gracewell's staff made this process from hospital to care home an easier process than we had anticipated. All staff welcoming and friendly and we were well informed about the
functioning of Gracewell's. My mum is now settling down nearly and I have less worries about her knowing she is in very capable hands. Many thanks to all at Gracewell.

Gracewell is clean, friendly and cheerful. My father spent four weeks in Gracewell, Fareham, after a fall.
He could not manage at home but the nurses and staff soon got him back on his feet.

Initially, we were welcomed by the staff and told that care could be provided until the end of life if necessary. After the six months it took for my dad to recover from lymphoma with chemotherapy treatment, he was diagnosed with dementia.
The staff had been great, looking after him initially but when
his needs became greater, instead of being moved to the dementia level, we were asked to find alternative care and leave Gracewell.
The family felt very let down and it was badly communicated by the management.
A real shame but we would not want our dad to remain somewhere where he was not wanted.
