All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They have conversations with me & treat me with respect & don't patronise me.
My room is large, bright & clean.
When there are activities they let me know and I choose whether to join in I enjoy excersize & meditation.
I have a gluten free diet, the food
is excellent & all suitable for my diet.
I'm settled & happy here.

Our mum has been in this excellent care home since 2019. She absolutely loves it. Knowing she is there, safe and happy, has enabled us to enjoy our time with her and genuinely feel content that all her needs are catered for. There is great communication and we find the social media page, which celebrates
the care home community, a source of great joy. We have found all the care providers to be professional and helpful, and the team are excellent. Well done everybody!

We have had a tremendous amount of support in terms of the high standard of care, emotional support as well as the provision of carefully crafted range of activities for residents to engage in. The most amazing setting for our auntie during a period of respite following her hospital admission. The home is beautiful, welcoming and comfortable.
All staff members went above and beyond to create a friendly, professional and caring service. Nothing was too much trouble. Our auntie felt safe and
the standard of care for her during this time was excellent.
We cannot praise the staff and the home enough. The staff were always smiling, happy to help and cared for our auntie with genuine compassion and kindness. Thank you so much.

My husband has used this home for respite stays for the past two years. He now needs full-time residential care and moved in just before Christmas. I cannot praise this home enough, the staff are wonderful, the building is light and welcoming. It is always clean and smells fresh. There are plenty of
comfortable areas for residents and visitors to use. My husband's room is spacious with plenty of natural light and a lovely view of the garden. The most important thing is my husband is happy here, he settled in immediately and is full of praise for all of the staff.

Both my parents came to Buckingham Care Home needing to be kept safe after being independent in their own home for as long as we could manage.
They took a few weeks to settle but with the understanding and patience shown to them, they began to enjoy the calm atmosphere.
They have valued the clean,
nicely decorated rooms that they have personalised; the lovely views of the garden and the tasty hot food... but above all, "the staff will do anything for you, you only have to ask and it's done... with a smile!"
After only a couple of months, my dad died. Since then the staff have geared up even more. They have supported not only my mum but our whole family with compassion.
They genuinely care!

Words cannot express my gratitude for the level of end-of-life care provided for my dad in his last few weeks with us. After being by his side for 12 hours a day for several weeks, it can be exhausting, particularly for older partners, and it makes a huge difference knowing your loved one is in safe

I can only pay the highest compliment to all the staff at Buckingham Care Home. Mum very much enjoyed the activities and the friendliness of the staff whilst able to and her family appreciated the kindness and sincerity of management and all staff members looking after Mum so beautifully to the end.
They also took the time to attend Mum's funeral which I thought was a very classy act. Thank you all at Buckingham for looking after my mum.

I came to the home after a fall and being in hospital. I was very nervous about going into a home but as soon as I arrived the staff showed me around, took me to my room and made sure I was looked after on my first night.
Each day I grew in confidence about stopping at the home, the care and activities
were fantastic. All staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them, yes they are busy but they come and let you know that they will come and get you sorted when they can.
The food cooked by the chef is varied and nice, the chef made a curry on one night especially for me and my family which is something I didn't expect but was a nice treat.
My room is big and I was given a portable TV as well which was a nice thing as I could watch tv in my room. I made new friends there and it is the first time in a long time that I have been able to laugh in company.
I have really enjoyed my time at the home and wish I could stop there all the time as I feel safe and looked after. Thank you.

My aunt was transferred to Buckingham Care Home on 15.12.24 - 12.01.25.
From the moment my aunt was admitted to the care home the staff and management were totally professional and caring. My first impressions of the home were one of a clean, tidy and spacious place for all the residents but especially
for family visiting. The staff are all wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them, they all spend time sitting and talking with all the residents.
The Christmas activities were so welcoming for all the residents and families
The room my aunt was in was big and spacious, with a big shower/wet room. The home provided a portable TV for my aunt without asking, nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
Care homes do get bad press but I can truly say that Buckingham Care home is outstanding and my aunty has thrived and been stimulated whilst at the home. A big thank you to all the staff, including the chef, the activities team and management team for making her stay so positive.

I came here when I could not cope by myself in my retirement flat. My children visited the home and said they thought I would be very happy there. I came knowing it was up to me to adapt to the home but it has been, really, everything I could have possibly hoped for. The food is delicious and they will
provide what you would like if none of the alternatives are available. The room is sufficiently and comfortably furnished. I have brought only one small chest from my old home. The staff are jolly and kind and let you do what you would like to do. I have had to adapt to the type of shower room provided but this has not been difficult. Despite my phased limitation, I do not take part in the activities as my sight is poor and I am very deaf.

On Friday the 13th of September my lovely wife peacefully passed away. She has been a resident since December 2021. In that time the care she received was first-class. I went to see her nearly every day and saw first-hand the fabulous way she was cared for. I could not have wished for a better home
for my wife. The staff work as a team harmoniously and as a result, the quality of care is wonderful. I thank all the staff for the love and care that my wife received. I have become part of the care home family and visit frequently. Love to you all.

Nice environment and kind staff. Our mother has been there for nearly a year and is settled and looked after well. Healthcare professionals- dentists, GP etc are organised as appropriate and there are also regular hairdresser and chiropodist appointments.

Wife completed two weeks of respite at Buckingham Care Home recently. The level of care was exceptional. She was treated with dignity and included and accommodated in group activities, despite her advanced stage of Alzheimer's, which was appreciated and welcomed. The personal care was also excellent
and she received a shower and change of clothes daily. The freshly cooked meals always looked tasty and nutritional and the assistance with feeding was greatly appreciated. Will definitely return.

Buckingham Care Home is an excellent environment. My sister who suffers from dementia is cared for excellently by the staff and are so friendly towards us on our visits nothing is a problem for them. The home is always clean and inviting. The management team are excellent, always friendly and around
if you need to speak to them. Residents always look happy and well cared for. Activities for residents are wonderful and well organised and encourage residents to take part, always something going on for our loved ones to keep them entertained.
