Weavers House is a purpose-built nursing home, able to take on a wide range of personal needs while also specialising in provision for adults with a form of dementia.

The provider values its reputation for person-centred care, with needs assessments carried out prior to occupancy to make for all individuals have their needs and requirements accounted for on a day-to-day basis.

Reminiscence therapy and storytelling are among some of the popular activities enjoyed within the home, which is tastefully decorated and furnished, making it a pleasant accommodation to live in and visit.

All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished with en-suite bathroom facilities and TV.

The home also has excellent amenities, including comfortable lounges in which residents can relax. In addition there is a dedicated area for dementia care, designed to enable those cared for to maintain their independence in a safe environment.

Mum was moved to nursing care, having been on the top floor, early 2023. The staff were all superb both prior to, during and after her move. They treat her with the greatest of dignity, and respect her Alzheimer's needs. The staff work tirelessly to ensure she is as happy and content as possible. They
always keep in contact with family and keep us updated. They involve family in planned activities and party events. It feels like a home from home. I cannot thank every member of staff involved in Mum's care enough. You have allowed me peace of mind.

My father has become a permanent resident from July and I am more than happy with the care and treatment he has be receiving from the home and all the staff. I come daily and I’ve got to know all the staff.

My aunt is currently a resident and her care to say the least is abysmal. I would not recommend this home to people who need feeding, toileting or a general level of care. There are only two staff on the floor and that is insufficient to provide the necessary level of care. These homes are profit motivated
and residents are secondary. Staff are underpaid and that in part determines the quality of service. I can't get my aunt out quick enough.

In respect of my Aunt (a resident) sadly, in my opinion, I have found the level of care to be well below standards set by the RQIA.
Having raised genuine and legitimate concerns with the home I have been met with a wall of hostility. The only action taken, a complaint made against me to my aunt's next
of kin and her social worker. I am at fault for daring to speak up for a loved one who is unable to speak for herself, I can only feel for residents who have no one to speak up on their behalf.
I feel vilified for speaking out but will not be silenced.

My Mum went into this home on November 2022. My Mum gets the care and attention she needs and all the staff are friendly and extremely brilliant at their job. I travelled from the USA to visit my relative during pandemic conditions. From the outset, the staff at this home carried out and explained the strict regulations necessary with politeness. I found the home conditions, cleanliness and food supplied were to the highest standard. The working staff were
friendly, courteous, kind, interesting and considerate to both my relative and me. Words cannot describe the dedication, interactions and happiness on display by staff every day and they are a true credit to their employers. I return to the USA with the knowledge that my relative is in excellent hands to be cared for in my absence. 5-stars.

I have a great relationship with Weavers House Care Home which my mum is a resident. The care is second to none, the staff are so friendly and have great compassion for my mum and us as a family. I feel they treat my mum as a very special person and cater for her individual needs first and dementia
second. I feel very much at home when I'm visiting Mum and they make me very welcome. I would recommend Weavers House to anyone.

Mum has settled really well to life in Weavers House especially during the current situation with covid. All the staff have been fantastic with mum and always reassured us as a family with any concerns or questions we have had. Mum is so happy and always smiling when we visit.

It was a pleasure visiting Weavers House as a volunteer pre-covid. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the residents are obviously well cared for. The activities coordinator is very talented and arranges a fantastic programme for the residents, which they take part in enthusiastically. The children
involved in my project (inter-generational choir) had a great experience working with the residents and were always rewarded with beautiful snacks and treats by the team. The staff are dedicated to their work and have a very good rapport with the residents. I have kept in contact with the staff and hope to re-establish the link with our school as soon as it is safe to do so.

We would like to thank the staff at Weavers for all their help and patience in settling Mum into her new residence. Mum has settled so well and always seem happy when we see her on FaceTime. Getting to visit Mum weekly in the pod has also helped us all adjust, although we can't wait for face to face
visits. The staff are very helpful when we phone and give us weekly updates.

Welcome to Weavers House. My name is Gabriela, and I am the Home Manager at Weavers House.


Choosing a care home for yourself or a loved one can be a daunting experience, but it doesn’t have to be. We can support you throughout the entire process by answering any queries you may have.


Our residents benefit from the right care delivered by our experienced team who are kind, compassionate and ultimately have the best interests of our residents at heart. We spend a lot of time with residents to understand what they enjoy and tailor our care, activities and events accordingly.
