Weavers House is a purpose-built nursing home, able to take on a wide range of personal needs while also specialising in provision for adults with a form of dementia.

The provider values its reputation for person-centred care, with needs assessments carried out prior to occupancy to make for all individuals have their needs and requirements accounted for on a day-to-day basis.

Reminiscence therapy and storytelling are among some of the popular activities enjoyed within the home, which is tastefully decorated and furnished, making it a pleasant accommodation to live in and visit.

All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished with en-suite bathroom facilities and TV.

The home also has excellent amenities, including comfortable lounges in which residents can relax. In addition there is a dedicated area for dementia care, designed to enable those cared for to maintain their independence in a safe environment.

All the staff are amazing and treat my mother with respect and love. In the last 12-months, dealing with the pandemic has not been easy. However, I have been kept up to date about my mothers care and have been sent photos. We tried phone and video calls, but together, we made the decision this was actually
more stressful for my mum. Mum has memory problems. I am now part of care support, which I am able to call in (with PPE) and see my mum in her room for approx 45mins. This is such a relief for both me and my mother. The support from the Weavers team has been outstanding. Not just with the basic everyday care, but for my mothers mental health support. They supported me and Mum in dealing with guilt and worry about medical and mental health issues. We all know it’s not easy watching our parents loosing their independence... or for them. Every single member of staff in Weavers are now mine and my mothers extended family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This has been a trying year for everyone but the staff has more to bear with than most. They were taking care of our vulnerable family members as well as their own families. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to our mum's loving and thoughtful carers, who rang us every week with an update.

Weavers care home is an excellent place, which provides my sister with all the care, love and dignity, which she deserves and gives us, as a family, reassurance and peace of mind. The staff and residents have become an extension of our family, and always ensure us of the warmest of welcomes. They have
been stoic in their duty of care throughout this awful pandemic, and we consider ourselves very fortunate that our sister is so well cared for in this excellent home. Well done, Weavers, and God Bless you all.

Despite all the uncertainty and distress of covid-19 and adverse effects of health, life and wellbeing, my mum has received excellent medical and personal care from all the management and staff at Weavers House nursing home. When we arrive for a visit, we are always treated with dignity, honesty and
kindness by the administrator and manager. Both ladies are lovely human beings and it is a joy to be in their presence. Mum has survived and continues to be in good health, thanks to the good care given. Thank you.

As my Mum has only been a resident from December 2019 until the present, I can only give comments on December, January, February. Mum is so happy in her new residence. The staff is so friendly and compassionate. Mum is well cared for. The cleanliness of both Mum and the facilities are excellent. The
food is very good. Any queries we as a family have had have always been addressed promptly. As we are in the middle of the virus, I can't fault anyone. All above and beyond. I can't praise all staff and procedures enough.

We were reluctant to have to put Mum into a home, however, it was a necessity. The relief we as a family felt when she settled quickly into Weavers House was immense. The staff, each and everyone, are so relaxed and friendly. The home has a lovely homely feeling. During the lockdown, when we call it
is never a problem speaking to Mum and hearing how happy she is, was wonderful. Thank you to all at Weavers House.

I highly recommend the nursing home. I use it all the time for respite. The staff is like family to Daddy and myself. It is home from home for us. When Daddy is here I know he is happy and content, so am I.

I've been volunteering at Weavers House once a week since last year. I'm always struck by the lovely atmosphere in the home and by how caring and chatty the staff all are to the residents. Regular activities and outings are organised to keep the residents stimulated and happy. I particularly love the
outdoor area, complete with chickens. The best compliment I can give is to say that if a family member ever needs a stay in a care home, I'd want them to be in Weavers.

My uncle has been in Weavers House for three years now and in all that time I can find no fault with the care he is receiving. From the cleaning staff right through to the management team they are all excellent. They know all his ways, mannerisms and habits and gave him the respect and dignity he deserves.
He is completely happy and content and loves all the hard work put into organising the entertainment which he really looks forward to and enjoys. All the staff at Weavers House are a real credit to Runwood Homes and are true gold.

Our mum is happy and content in Weavers House. The staff treat her with care and dignity. The staff are friendly and very helpful always keeping us up to date with any treatments she may need from time to time. The facilities are clean and comfortable. In the summer months, mum enjoyed the outdoor facilities
in the garden she was a keen gardener at home. The chickens and ducks take her back to her childhood on a farm. We are very pleased with the love and care she is receiving.

Das was very happy and content during his stay in Weavers House which was very reassuring for the family. The staff always treated dad with dignity and respect and he enjoyed the social interaction with the staff and the other residents who became his friends. Family and friends were always made to
feel very welcome and it was a pleasure to visit as there was always a happy and relaxed atmosphere in the home. The staff were always available to discuss dads health issues and to attend sensitively to his needs and ongoing issues with his stoma which we were so appreciative and thankful for. Dad enjoyed attending the events organised by the home. I cannot ever thank the staff enough for the care and compassion given to dad in his final days and also the support given to the external family during this difficult time. It was exceptional.
