St Ronans Care Home is an attractive, purpose-built facility opened in October 2012 to offer an exceptionally high standard of residential and nursing care. The home has stunning views over the Tay Bridge and River Tay and is close to local amenities.

At St Ronans, residents enjoy a new height in professional care, carried out in an extremely welcoming and comfortable setting. A holistic approach to care means that carers get to know the needs and preferences of every resident.

Large en-suite bedrooms are also equipped with digital flat screen TV, 24 hour "Alert Call" system, telephone point and wi-fi internet access. The home also features a "Care Cafe" off the centre lobby, where residents can entertain their visitors.

Found it very comfortable and clean. The staff are very caring and attention given to patients. Good food and the rooms are very good.

All the staff at the home from the management to carers are all very friendly and welcoming. My dad is very well looked after and it's peace of mind for us as a family. Thye have been brilliant at keeping us informed and involved. The home is always immaculate and has high standards of care.

My mum has been in St Ronans for just over a week. I feel this place is very safe for my mum. It is spotlessly clean, the staff are fantastic and meet all my mum's needs.

Excellent care.
Mother was treated as an individual.
Staff all very caring and treated mother with respect and dignity.
All staff (cleaners, laundry staff, kitchen staff etc) knew my mum and spoke to her.
Everyone was very approachable and informative with family.
At times going over and above
'the call of duty'.
Bright, pleasant and clean surroundings.

Need cold drinks in rooms lack of toilet paper, paper towels and clean towels. Bin broken, chipped mugs. Lack of fruit and foods like meat and olive oil should ask residents what foods they like its the same menus every week. Sticky floors smell of urine. Clothing mix up for residents sometimes left
in dirty clothing, not enough stimulations games, cards, dominoes etc. Tiny plates of food not very tasty food, cheapest of drinks Lemonade etc lady likes other fizzy drinks. Resident left for long periods of time without interaction from the staff, lack of stimulation staff kissing residents one minute and ignoring them the next, bit over the top, bedding horrible.

Since mum has become a resident here, I am very happy with the care and support mum receives. Staff are very approachable if there are any concerns. Staff carry out their duties in a very professional and caring manner. Residents are very well looked after and everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
Knowing that mum is safe and comfortable is a great comfort to myself. The care home is bright and cheery, and there is always activities ongoing and parties.

When it came time to do this for mum, we looked at 10 care homes and as a family decided unanimously that the best place we had seen was St Ronan's. The whole experience when viewing, meeting staff and other residents filled us with hope during a very difficult time and a very difficult decision. We
were lucky enough to finally be offered a place for mum, we were delighted and relieved.
The staff have been absolutely amazing: helping mum settle, encouraging and kind. Every one of them is professional and they quickly got to know mum and what her needs were. Their interaction with the family has been open, honest and non-judgemental. We know that we can talk to any of them and they will address any issues that we have or direct us to someone who can.
St Ronan's standards are very high - the building itself is spacious, clean and welcoming - the food is nutritious, served hot and menus are varied - the laundry is excellent. This is my mum's home and I am very proud to say that.

I am so grateful to all the staff who are taking great care of my Mother's wellbeing. They are all so fantastic. Not only for my Mother's welfare but have helped our family and guided us in the right direction i.e. Medical appointments, paperwork, hygiene and the care and attention for Mum.

Cheryl started her career at Balhousie Care Group as an executive to the Chairman, then worked on special projects, including opening the independent living facility Milton Mews in Huntly. She has supported a number of homes, including Alastrean House in Aberdeenshire. Cheryl joined Balhousie Antiquary as Home Manager in 2020, before taking the helm at BCG Clement Park and now St Ronans in Dundee.
