Thank you for taking time out to write a review for our care home. I am pleased to see that you have noted an improvement in meals, as we have had a recent change in our catering team.
Your father is encouraged to join in activities within the home, although he does enjoy being in his room listening to his music.
His room has been changed around since admission to enable better placement of his furniture etc.
We appreciate that it was a difficult time for you when your father was admitted to the home, and the visiting restrictions in place followed Government guidelines, as you stated, you are now able to enjoy trips out with him, this is still following Government guidance.
It is always nice when the hard work of the staff team is acknowledged. The staff at St James work really hard to get to know the residents within the home.

Thank you for taking the time to review our home. It is a pleasure to see that you were very pleased and satisfied with the care provided during the last 3 years, especially the end of life care. We always strive to improve the quality of our service and value all constructive feedback.
We are happy that you found our building to be well looked after, and we are sorry that at times you felt the cleanliness of the room could have been better. We aim to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building, and we have robust procedures for cleaning and infection control in place, which have been reflected in our recent CQC inspection, which was rated good across all areas.
Managers may move jobs due to career progression or more convenient travel. As current manager of St James Court, I have found the provider to be very supportive and open to suggestions, the most recent being the approval of an extended garden area to facilitate a pleasant, secure outdoor area for visiting.
