I have been visiting Pemberley House for a number of years.
The only slight problem has been with agency carers, overall the care has been good with all the staff being kind, caring and helpful.
Although, like most homes it is expensive, I would recommend it to people.

Mummy was rushed into Pemberley House in December and has been cared for and treated with respect. The team on Poolside have gone above and beyond. My mother feels safe and cared for and enjoys her little potters along the corridor, which may sound restrictive but to her, it's brilliant as she is independent
and not stuck in her room.
Food could be a little better apparently but nothing will replace a home-cooked meal!

I was extremely disappointed that there was no activities or celebration for East in the home this weekend. I know that one of the wellbeing staff resigned and the other was on sick leave, however, I do believe, as a number of the other resident's relatives that the management should have stepped up
and arranged something. The carers and nurses that were on this weekend are marvellous, but they can only do so much with such short resources. I do hope this will change and the King's coronation will be recognised as it should be.

My mother-in-law just returned after a fortnight's respite care whilst we were away on holiday. This is her second stay at Pemberley House.
Before and during each stay, I found the staff to be both professional and efficient. Their warmth towards her let us enjoy our holiday, knowing that she was safe
and well.
She did not want to be there, so their patience with her was very much appreciated.
Special thanks to the lady who coordinated the stay - she feels more like a friend to call on in need rather than just a staff member.

My mother went into Pemberley House Care Home five months ago and we are pleased with the care and facilities. As homes go, I would recommend it to friends and family. The food is nice and varied. Nowhere is perfect as it's not your own home. The staff and all the carers, cleaners and nurses are all
very dedicated and caring. The front desk and office staff are all excellent! So far so good!

After suffering a fall in April 2022, which related to my father breaking his hip, it was decided that it would be in his best interest for him to go into a care home. This was an especially hard decision as my father lived in an annexe with us, and I was his main carer. However, all the staff at Pemberley
House made this process as easy as possible for me. They welcomed Dad with open arms, and he has settled in very well. His dementia is progressing fast, but I know he is safe, extremely well fed and, above all, happy the majority of the time. Thank you, Pemberley!

The staff that work at Pemberley are hardworking, kind and considerate. Reception staff and office staff always greet visitors with a smile and always have time for a chat - always so welcoming. The resident's rooms are large, bright and airy, unlike most homes I have visited.

Residents' welfare and contentment are always at the forefront of the carers. Residents are always addressed by their Christian names. The bedrooms and communal rooms very clean and tidy. Meals and snacks very tasty and well presented. All in all a first class care home

I am quite satisfied with the care and support my friend is receiving in Pemberley House. The staff are friendly and caring! It has been difficult over the past two years with the pandemic. We seem to have come through eventually!

My father-in-law moved into Pemberley in August 2021. It was sad that he could no longer continue living in his own home, but the past few months have proved that it was the best thing for him. The care he has received is second to none. Everyone is so kind and he quickly became part of the Pemberley
family. The rooms are clean, bright and cheerful and it's lovely to see him surrounded by all the things he loves and treasures. His care needs have increased these last few months, and it is such a comfort that despite this he doesn't have to move to a different home. Despite his increased needs he is still encouraged to participate in all the activities and at all times is treated with dignity and gentleness.

My mum has a lovely room with a patio. The staff are so caring and treat her with respect and dignity, nothing is too much trouble for them. The management are friendly and very helpful. The food is very good and always nicely presented. The building is well maintained and always clean. The standard

My mother, who unfortunately has severe dementia and is confined to bed now, has had wonderful care. Everyone at the home is very kind and empathetic - this includes management, reception/admin and of course the nurses and carers on mum's unit.
It has been distressing to see mum’s marked irreversible
deterioration but I’m grateful that she has is receiving such good care.
As she is unable to communicate I am so relieved to know that the carers understand and anticipate her needs.
I also appreciate the challenges the home have faced during the pandemic.

Mum has been here for nearly 9 months now and receives excellent care. Staff are always patient and kind and I know that she is always receiving the help she needs. She recently had a short stay in hospital and was so obviously pleased to be back at Pemberley afterwards that we cannot doubt how happy
she is here, even if she is not able to express that herself.

My mother moved to Pemberley House in February 2020, just before the first Covid lockdown, and passed away recently from a cause unrelated to Covid. The care my mother received was excellent, combining professionalism with compassion and genuine affection. I am grateful to everyone for maintaining a
sense of normality throughout extremely difficult times. When my mother became terminally ill, the nursing care she received was of the highest standard. I will be forever grateful.

When my father first became a resident I thought what a fantastic place. The staff, the food and the environment were all first-rate. Sadly as time moved on things have changed dramatically. It saddens me to see how a once vibrant home has lost its sparkle. The soul has been ripped out of the home and
I blame the lack of senior management for this. Two years ago this would have been a five-star rating, sadly now a two. There are still some kind and caring staff left and I hope they stay because Pemberley needs them.

The staff at Pemberley House Care Home have always been kind and considerate and quick to attend to any changes in my mother's needs when asked. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and always clean and tidy almost like a five-star hotel! Despite the challenges this last year has presented they have
