I have been well cared for during a time of ill health. The carers have looked after me wonderfully. The rooms are kept beautifully clean.

I am so grateful to all the staff, both carers and admin who have cared for my parents with kindness, respect and humour. I highly recommend this care home to anyone who is looking for exceptional care with dignity and understanding in excellent surroundings. Abundant and delicious food, help-yourself

My father-in-law passed away this month after nearly 3 years of absolutely super care from Gracewell of From. The last two years, in particular, have been of ever-increasing standards. The staff are extremely caring with genuine concern and interest in the welfare of their patients. I know they absolutely
adored him. His death in the home was dealt with great compassion and I will be eternally grateful with the love and dignity they gave to him in the last year of his life.

Couldn't have wished for a better home for my 88-year-old nan. Everyone was so welcoming and caring, especially one who treated us like family and made a very sad situation feel like a positive move. My nan, within 3 days said she never wants to leave and that this is now her home. The care we couldn't
fault and the food is very varied and good quality. Gracewell really has thought of everything to suit everyone from the decor to the entertainment and we would thoroughly recommend this to everyone. I have my nan back.

Mum was only in Gracewell of Frome for 4 weeks as she was terminally ill. We cannot fault the care she was given and the compassion the nursing team gave to mum, family and friends who came to visit. Thank you and keep up the good work.

The manager absolutely great. Kind, caring and helps on a personal level, she really cares. Nursing staff all very kind and caring. Surroundings are bright and cheerful. Having visited over 12 care homes this one was the best. I wanted the best for my mum. I feel safe knowing she is being well cared
for even when she is being difficult!

My mother has been at Gracewell of Frome for 17 months. I cannot fault the care she has been given. All staff, nurses and careers are kind, patient and caring and are respectful to my mum.
Activities are good, lots of music, singing, which mum responds to although having dementia soon forgets but really
enjoys at the time. Also loves walks along the river and into town.
Food varied, if not on the menu they will sort. Even glass of wine if wanted - think will book my place now??


You are always given warm welcome on arrival at home by reception staff.


In past have been worried about going away for holiday but feel less stressed now knowing mum is being well cared for.

The home is classed as luxury and compared to all others I have visited it certainly is, however, it's not really "luxury" it is how we should be looking after older people. The care home is very good, it still has it's staffing issues as does all the care sector but the impact on residents appears
minimal. The care staff are very caring and pride themselves in the engagement with service users. I work in the care sector (Head of care and support services Age UK) and can clearly see the difference in quality of this home compared to others.

Gracewell is completely unlike any other care home I viewed for my father. It's more like going into a quite nicely appointed hotel than a care home, and the furnishings, rooms and layout all reinforce this. Excellent rooms and dining more in 'small restaurants' around the building than some vast canteen.
Really quite unlike anything you'd expect and so much nicer for it. A lovely place for my father to be.

My mother has dementia and mobility problems. She was discharged from hospital into Gracewell of Frome following a couple of falls. Previous to this she was living independently both with my extensive support and with the help of external carers. She is 92. The staff at Gracewell of Frome have been
very helpful, welcoming and have extensively supported both my mother and me and the transition process from hospital to residential care. She has been treated with a great deal of care, kindness and dignity. All the staff we have met have gone out of their way to help her adjust to her new life. The physical surroundings of Gracewell of Frome also make an excellent impression, it is light, welcoming, with a beautiful garden. There is a gentle 'buzz' about the place that makes for a happy and stimulating environment.

A lady at Gracewell helped us find a place for our mother, as we had been asked to move her at very short notice, the day before Christmas Eve. The staff at Gracewell are brilliant and we have seen a marked improvement in mums appearance, general health and awareness in just four weeks of being a resident
there. She is happy and well and we are so glad to have found such a caring and well appointed home for her.

Phil

Phil Vale

Job Title: General Manager

I’ve worked for some years in the care sector, including in care quality support roles. Prior to being General Manager here at Rossetti House, I was Head of Care at the home.


While there’s much to keep me busy in my job, by far my favourite part of the role is spending time with residents, particularly if we’re doing fun activities together. Enabling older people to enjoy life to the full is ultimately what each person who works here is passionate about – including me.


I look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful Frome home very soon and introducing you to our passionate, caring and skilled team.
