Following the sad death of my father (a resident of Silvermere) earlier this year, I have been most impressed in the way that the managers and all staff at Silvermere have supported my mother in all aspects of her living. They gently adjusted her room for single occupancy, encouraged her to eat and
drink, have her hair and nails done and to take part in group activities. They have helped her "keep going" in such a difficult period. I want to thank the team at Silvermere for all their hard work and support.

Have just moved my mother into this care home as she previously spent three weeks last year in respite care after a hospital stay. She has settled in very quickly, and I am very happy, as he daughter, with how this has happened due to the care and kindness of the staff.

My father was taken very unwell with a nasty infection and hospitalised. We were considering residential care within the following months. However, the decision was taken out of our hands.


He wasn’t well enough to return home from the hospital for my mum to continue care. I called Silvermere and

explained the dilemma we were in. The hospital wanted to discharge with continued care at home. Within an hour of my call, the Silvermere manager met me at the hospital to review my father. The following evening at 7 pm, my father arrived at Silvermere. The room was beautifully appointed, with a bouquet of flowers, a welcome card and huge support to my Father and family. My husband and I came in March 2020 for two weeks but stayed here when the Covid lockdown started and have been here ever since. We have been very happy and cared for well. We advised a friend to send his mother here; she has been happy and settled as well. During the lockdown time, the staff did their

Mum stayed at Silvermere for 3 weeks as respite care. The staff were so welcoming, and she settled really quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum really enjoyed the food, especially the tea and cake at 4 pm! There were daily activities lead by the well-being team, which Mum really enjoyed. Due to
Covid, all the activities were in-house, but they were great. Visiting was very well organised, and again, due to covid, very safe. The newly installed pod is lovely. I would definitely recommend Silvermere.

My mother was a resident for some 4 years and now her sister is a resident. I cannot praise Silvermere and the staff highly enough. Professional, caring and friendly.
The manager is always available to deal with any concerns and in my 6 years associated with Silvermere, I can’t fault them. The rooms

My brother went to Silvermere Cobham for respite stay due to having a recent hip operation. My brother was not coping well at home and we both thought it would be best if he could go to a place that provides care while he recovers. I found Silvermere Cobham online and contacted them. From the start
to the very end Silvermere Cobham staff have been so kind and attentive to my brother. They have looked after him so well, he is now walking with his trolley again. They would call me daily with updates. I can not recommend this home enough and I am sure my brother will be back at Silvermere Cobham in the near future.
