Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

At Cairdean House, our catering team work hard to ensure the meals provided are nutritious, made with fresh produce and appeal to all residents’ preferences. Feedback is encouraged so we can adapt the menu to suit all, so we will continue to work with your father to ensure his needs and preferences are accommodated for. Our team also work hard to ensure residents’ rooms are fully prepared ahead of move-in day. We make sure to not have multiple residents moving in in a short timeframe so we can dedicate our time to ensuring everything is ready for you.

The staff are fantastic, who can't do enough for the residents; and relatives too! There is a good choice of food and snacks available when required. There are plenty of communal areas to sit in including a cafe on the first floor.
If Mum is not too chipper, I help with the garden and chat to other residents which is a joy. What a laugh we have.
It will take time for Mum to adjust, but she is safe, I am happy to leave her and I have the support that I need.

We are delighted to hear you are happy with the care your mum is receiving and with your comments about our team.
Thank you for taking the time out to review us and for sharing your feedback, we are always looking at ways we can improve the service we offer. Our lovely maintenance man has handmade four new bird feeders which now allow wheelchair users to help fill and clean them. Regarding your comment to having a phone in every suite, we do have three phones on every floor, unfortunately, if a carer/nurse is dealing with a resident, if it’s a protected mealtime (12-1.30 and 4.30-6pm) or a medication round then those that are ‘phone holders’ are unlikely to answer as they are directing all attention to our residents. We do allow residents to have phones in their room, but at the moment we don’t automatically have phones available in every room.

The home offers a wide range of activities and my mother is much more mentally stimulated
The home is modern, clean, and has a nice cafe area upstairs where visitors can sit with the residents. This makes it feel much less like a traditional home.
The food is varied and the resident chief made a fantastic birthday cake to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday.
We are really pleased with the home and grateful to the super staff who do a great job looking after the residents. Thank you
