Foxbridge House in Orpington, Kent, is a purpose-built home offering nursing, respite and residential care, as well as specialist dementia care.

The bright and spacious home has been designed to create a lively, family atmosphere. Residents can enjoy a wealth of luxury features, including a hair and nail salon, a retro-themed cinema and a coffee shop perfect for socialising. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, a TV and a 24-hour nurse call system.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Foxbridge House. The team places importance on protecting residents' meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Family members are very welcome to 'book-in' and join their loved one for a meal.

I am extremely happy with the care provided at Foxbridge House.
There is such a friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. All the staff work very hard and it is evident that they care about the well-being of residents and their families.


The communication is excellent and I feel welcome at any

time. I have recommended Foxbridge House to many people and will continue to do so.
I feel very fortunate that this wonderful facility is nearby and that my mum is settled and happy.

I went to go and visit my uncle and thus far he has seemed to express than he has settled in. He talks about how caring the staff are, a variety of food he can choose from and how his room is always clean. It's nice to know that my uncle is being taken care of, he says that he would recommend Foxbridge
House to friends and family.

I attended Foxbridge House for ten days as part of respite care. I've never been to a care home before, so this was a whole new world to me. My first contact was with their customer relations manager who made all the arrangements for my stay, which was done with a minimum of fuss and was all done as
required. From what I can see of this business, the real value in your service comes from your staff. My experience of the staff, from management to cleaning staff, was outstanding. I was treated with kindness, compassion and respect by everyone I came into contact with. There was the right balance of attention to my needs whilst respecting my privacy.
The only negative observations I have are as follows. The food provision was not great; breakfasts were excellent, but after that it was very hit and miss as some items not available and some things just not cooked properly. The alarm opposite room eleven is very annoying. Room eleven has very little light and no access to garden. Overall, a superb experience. Thank you to all staff.

We’re sorry to hear that the food provision didn’t meet your expectations, but we are pleased to let you know that we have recently had a new head chef join our team and residents have been very happy with his food offering and change of menu. Unfortunately, due to refurbishment works, there were limited rooms available during your stay and therefore the room we had available at the time had no direct garden access and was opposite an alarm call point panel. This must be kept operational; however, we did reduce the volume of this at night time to keep disturbance to a minimum.

We are very pleased with the help and support our resident is receiving at Foxbridge House. His room is always clean and fresh, and so is he, and his clothes are always clean and well laundered. There are many activities to choose from, and we always find the staff friendly and approachable. He enjoys
his food, and allowing a glass of wine is a nice touch. The food always looks extremely good and varied. His care and nursing requirements are first class, and very professional. He is a vulnerable person, and we feel he is very safe in Foxbridge.

Dad came in for two weeks respite before moving to a home closer to my mum. How I wish I could pick up Foxbridge House and put it next door to Mum, the care and attention we received was superb! The staff are terrific and there is a lovely warmth to the home. Everyone we met showed genuine interest
and a wish to care for Dad. I couldn't have asked for more.

The support I personally received from the deputy manager has been exceptional. She assisted me in the smooth navigation of all hurdles in moving my elderly mother safely from the hospital to the care home. Foxbridge House offers a caring and safe environment for all their residents and as a regular
visitor there, I can honestly say that the staff all make the home feel like one big family and seem to listen and care for all residents.

I came into Foxbridge House for recuperation after a serious operation. My room was of a good size and cleaned every day.
The fact that I am lactose intolerant took a while to reach the main kitchen but once they understood my needs, I was well catered for.
Found the staff friendly and helpful, the
entertainment staff eager to include newcomers int the family.
I would have preferred to stay for one week but that option was not available. Overall, I am glad of my decision to stay at Froxbridge House.

Foxbridge has become a satisfactory care home for my wife. The home is warm and well-kept. The laundry service is good, meals excellent. I realise staffing is a constant worry for the home, however, I find the staffing levels generally good. Supervising staff are excellent. The staff are pleasant, helpful,
and professional. I have no complaints about staff or the running of the home.

My great-aunt stayed at Foxbridge House Care Home until she sadly passed away. The staff at Foxbridge House were all amazing. They ensured my great-aunt was comfortable and even showed compassion towards me and the rest of the family. During the last few days of her life, we were there for many hours.
We were given food and drinks and treated like their family. I cannot thank them all enough for what they have done.

The staff are very caring and in general very attentive to resident's needs. One always feels welcome by the front office staff. At times, at weekends when there are agency staff, the standard is lower i.e appearance of rooms, resident's personal items are left un-tidier.

We came to the hard decision that my mother needed wrap around care following her deterioration due to dementia. Before she was placed in care she had a rapid three month decline. While she has been in Foxbridge the decline has drastically decelerated. I am in no doubt that this is through the excellent
care of the staff. The staff keep me updated and I can tell it's not just a job for them. The weight loss stopped for my mum when she entered care at Foxbridge. Foxbridge was recommended by a friend and I would be happy to also recommend.

Job Title: Home Manager

There are many different aspects of my role as Home Manager at Foxbridge House, but one of my favourites is the opportunity to meet and get to know residents and their families. It’s a huge privilege.


Every person we care for is at the heart of their care: they make decisions about how they want to be cared for, how they want to spend their day and live their life, and we support them to make that happen.


Central to achieving that is having a superb team. We have great people at Foxbridge House who are determined to do their best for residents, relatives and for each other. I’m here to support them to succeed, and Care UK supports me to succeed as well.


While this job is high-pressured and there’s a lot to juggle, the feeling at the end of the day of knowing that you’ve done the best job you can is second to none.
