Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each
individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing
Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or
appointments not covered by the NHS, toiletries, newspapers or magazines, any over the counter
medications that a GP wouldn’t normally prescribe such as paracetamol and indigestion relief, and any
other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.
Anning House operates an 'Open House' policy and encourages family and friends to visit. There are no limited visiting hours, however, enquirers are requested to call the home manager to arrange a visit in advance.

In regards to the food at the home, you'll be very pleased to hear that we have recently recruited a new Head Chef here at Anning House, who has a wealth of experience. As we want our menus to not only offer choice but also be reflective of residents' wishes, he is spending time with each resident to make sure we have plenty of everyone's favourites we will also have some exciting culinary events coming up which I hope you can join us for. Job Title: General Manager

I hold my Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, a diploma in adult nursing, and mentoring qualifications.
I decided to join Anning House because I wanted to be part of a well-respected larger company that was part of the wider community where I live.
As a General Manager, it’s important that I have empathy, and am able to listen and lead by example. I always want to be a good role model and empower my team and others, treating everyone with respect. I went into nursing to make a difference; this can be a big impact or just the little things that make a difference in someone’s life. I’m still incredibly proud and happy to be able to continue to do this in my career every day.
Although I have a busy role at work, I like to keep busy outside of work too - I love supporting my husband when he’s playing in his band, going to nice restaurants to eat, entertaining family and friends at home, and going to the theatre, especially to see musicals.
