I have found the modern, clean, bright facilities to be an excellent environment. The staff, to my knowledge, are generally very caring and treat my mother with dignity. Communication between staff and family members is good and a considerable amount of effort appears to go into organising activities
for residents.

Ringdufferin is a very homely Nursing Home where the staff are very efficient, professional, and friendly when carrying out their duties. The residents are treated with respect, caring, and to personal needs. There is a close working relationship between Nursing staff, Doctors, and Care Partners with
the resident's medical needs always a priority. There are always different activities for residents programmed every week which forms a sense of belonging and comradeship. The meals are excellent and cater for many different diets i.e. Diabetes. The Management staff are very good and keep relations informed of any illness, changes in any COVID-19 regulations to enable the Nursing Home to be COVID-19 free. There are Day Lounges both upstairs and down for residents who are mobile to enjoy television, radio, and CD/DVD players and meet other residents for chat and company so they do not feel alone. The Home is kept exceptionally clean and hygienic and is of a very high standard.

I am overall very pleased with the care and attention my father receives at Ringdufferin Nursing Home. He is treated with respect and dignity by every member of staff, from the nurses, management and admin, domestic and maintenance staff. They are always willing to assist dad when needed and happy to
pass the time of day with chats and going out around the grounds, which he really enjoys. He has attended a few of the special days which have been laid on (he enjoys the live music). A special mention to the carers who surprised dad on his birthday with a cake and happy birthday rendition. He was so pleased.
