Madison Court Care Home is a modern care home that is dedicated to providing care in general nursing care, residential dementia and dementia nursing.

The home has three floors with 66 rooms that are all en-suite and there are two large lounges on the ground floor that are spacious, comfortable and homely for residents and their families to enjoy. The home is designed to get the most out of a team of talented carers and provide residents with a daily lifestyle in which they feel secure and respected.

The enclosed patio garden area is used for activities, entertainment and to plant and grow both flowers and vegetables! The outside area has recently been improved to include the planting of fruit trees and extension of the raised bed areas, order to make gardening more accessible.

Madison Court Care Home is participating in a number of community and wider national initiatives. The activities team and residents attend three dementia cafes locally as well as getting involved in packing shoe boxes for ‘Operation Christmas Child’ and have been a collecting point for charitable aid for the homeless.

Apart from the good deeds the residents are involved in, their busy activity programme includes scheduled activities to take residents to rugby matches, bingo and tea dances as well as entertainment within the home.

My Nan has been at Madison Court for several months and she is very contented there and we are very happy that she is being well cared for. I visit the home frequently at all times of the day and the staff are all very welcoming, they are always busy but they always take the time to chat for a moment
or two. The home is clean, it always smells nice and is overall well decorated.
The food is wholesome and filling, my nan always says how much she enjoys the sponge puddings. The staff do a good job, they are kind and caring, and I would particularly like to mention the activity girls as they bring so much colour to Madison Court, you always see them buzzing about either crafting or organising events. Overall we are very happy with Madison Court and I now consider it a second home.

Me and my family are extremely happy with the care and treatment that my dad receives since coming to Madison Court. He is happier and content and we have seen a massive difference in his attitude and personal appearance.
He is willing to join in and talk to the other residents and staff. The staff

An outstanding care home with its residents and their families evidently at its core. My nan has lived here for two years and staff are supportive, approachable and knowledge of their job role. Activities are carefully planned and varied taking residents likes and wants into consideration. The home
and nans room is bright and clean, her room is personalised to her. The food is varied and nice with a variety of snacks and drinks continuously throughout the day. A lovely shaded garden with a variety of sensory zones which is work in progress so it can be accessible all year round. It's nice to be able to go and eat Christmas dinner in nans new home and celebrate Mother's Day including birthdays. The home is like our extended family and I cannot thank them enough for their continued care and support.

My father has been a resident of Madison Court for 2 and a half years.
He suffers from vascular dementia, depression and anxiety.
He is very up and down but the staff on Rylands cope with him very well and I cannot praise them enough for their patience and care of him.
Any problems we have are dealt
with by the staff and we as a family are very happy that dad is in a safe and secure environment and being cared for very well.

Lovely and friendly feel from the moment you walk in. Staff are attentive and caring. Was cautious about putting my uncle in nursing care at first but all those fears have been quashed since he arrived in March 2018.

My husband came to Madison Court in April and has settled in well. The staff care for him with respect and dignity. They are also courteous to relatives and make you feel part of the family. The meals are very nutritious and varied with choices. (Puddings brilliant).

My Dad came into Madison Court on April 16th 2018. We were filled with fear and trepidation as to what to expect as the last thing we thought would happen would be Dad going into care. Our minds were put at rest when we met the lovely staff although it was still a very upsetting time. We were reassured
at all times and the way the staff are with my Dad is a joy to see. The meals are amazing. The ladies who clean the rooms are very thorough and friendly. Activities are a brilliant way of interacting and the team are fab. The receptionist, handy man and management are all a credit. (Pay rise!!)

We moved mum here after a dreadful experience in another care home. Mum was going down hill rapidly both physically and mentally and ended up in hospital. After 4 weeks recovery she was moved to Maddison court.
I cannot believe the difference in the level of care my mum now receives. The staff are
excellent, they really do care about the residents.
The food is very good and every time I visit it always seems to be coffee and cake time.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they give mum and all the other residents and the way they treat them all with respect and dignity.

I moved my mother in this care home almost 3 years ago after poor experiences in previous care homes in Southport, Burscough and St.Helens. From the beginning, staff have gone out of their way to be kind to her. Her religious faith is important, so arrangements were made for parishioners to visit
with communion for her and others twice a week. My mother is in a dementia unit, but nevertheless events and activities are organised to provide structure as well as jogging memories such as Halloween, Easter and bonfire night. The food is plentiful and varied, but more importantly cares for the needs of elderly people who have lived in this environment all of their lives. My sister and I live some distance away, but on my return journey from seeing mum, I am happy and relieved that she is in a safe and secure place amongst patients, cheerful and caring staff.

The care my dad has received at Madison Court over the years he's been here has been very good, at times excellent care. Lovely staff and the new management team are excellent, very helpful and approachable.
They do all they can do to help the care staff, a lovely set of girls and nurses on my dads
floor. Overall great service we now receive at Madison Court and peace of mind, my dad is well looked after.
