Bridgedale House offers a versatile approach to care, welcoming long-term needs for older people, as well as respite and day care, while care workers are also experienced in dementia care.

Staff are friendly and well-qualified, understanding the need to communicate with residents and their loved ones. There is a strong focus on health, safety and quality nutrition.

In-depth mental health training allows the team to perform highly on more complex needs, the value of which is enhanced by homely comforts and a pleasant atmosphere.

While living as part of a community, residents also have the privacy of their own bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. I have been very impressed by the care my Mother has experienced at Bridgedale House care home. Her health has stabilised and is better now than it has been for a while, her appearance has improved and her dementia is more settled with the continuity of care and activities. Her room is lovely and there
is an individualised approach to care that is respectful of her needs as and individual but one that engenders a cohesion in the community of residents. I am very grateful to the staff at the home for caring so well for my mother.

Bridgedale House is very good value. The staff are particularly sensitive to the needs of dementia sufferers and are always cheerful. Their welcome and assistance to visitors to excellent.

I viewed a few care homes in Sheffield but found that while they were clean and the staff pleasant, the homes were like group hotels, uniform, corporate colours and small box rooms for residents. I also felt I was commencing a business transaction and that mum's needs were secondary. Bridgedale feels
like someone's home that they are sharing with others. Residents rooms are large and individual and have their own toilets and wash basins. The dining room and lounges are bright and spacious and carers are always in sight, whether it be a manager, cook, cleaner or carer, the staff are always warm and friendly and posses great sensitivity along with good humour. They're also very supportive of relatives as well as the residents.
