Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

We’re grateful for your feedback and are delighted with the positive comments and scores for the care and support we provide here at The Potteries. The Chiropodist was only brought in for emergency appointments, of which your mother was one, as she’s seen regularly every 4-6 weeks due to extremely painful in-growing toenails. We do ensure that PPE is always worn and she follows our strict guidelines within the home. We have been extremely strict and followed all government guidelines. However, we do take your concerns and feedback seriously and would like to thank you for taking the time to share your views - we will arrange for a manager at the home to get in touch and discuss this further with you.

Job Title: Home Manager
I began my social care career as a carer and worked my way up. That’s given me a very helpful perspective and understanding of what my team does. Even now, I’m always ready to roll up my sleeves and help if the need arises.
I believe that effective care is personalised care. Our team gets to know each resident well. We know what they enjoy doing, and we help them to continue to experience those things.
It’s also vital to keep up-to-date with developments in care so that we can bring benefits to residents. We recently took delivery of a Tovertafel, or ‘magic table’, which uses the latest technology to enable residents to play simple, fun interactive games, either on their own or with others. The tables have proven benefits: helping people who are living with dementia to develop their communication and cognitive skills and mobility.
