Beaufort Grange is a luxurious 74 bedded care home situated in Cheswick Village in Filton. The home accommodates those who require nursing and residential care, and also offers support for those living with dementia in its specialist Memory Lane community.

Cheswick Village is located close to local amenities and the local community, which is perfect for those who wish to keep their independence in everyday living.

The highly dedicated team at Beaufort Grange are committed to delivering the highest standards of care. My husband moved into Barchester Beaufort Grange in mid-January, and he was very delighted with the home. The care he has received has been exemplary. The home is clean, warm and welcoming. The home manager is always approachable and keeps me fully updated, which I truly appreciate and value. The carers
are very attentive to my husband's comfort and safety and demonstrate their interest and concern for his well-being throughout. It is very reassuring to know my husband is in such good hands. I can't thank the staff- management, reception, carers, nurses and everyone else enough. They are very special people.

An exceptional care home and very good value. The activities they arrange are very varied and a lot of work goes into the organisation of the activities to ensure that there is something of interest to everyone. All care staff are very friendly and care a lot about the residents. Nothing is too much

Dad had been in and out of the hospital for many months, gradually deteriorating. Despite a good care at home package, we felt Dad needed 24-hour care for a couple of weeks. I had seen lots of activities taking place on social media and the care and engagement of residents made me feel that this was
a safe place for Dad. A place where he would be encouraged to be independent and safe at home again. (Dad's wish was to die at his own home.) Despite being out of our local area they found a room for Dad. A large clean room with private bathroom facilities. All lovely and clean. My dad was made welcome on his first encounter with the staff. The activities manager went to see him and she made him feel very safe and secure. Dad was a very fussy eater! When asked what he would like to eat he'd say what he wanted following by 'but not a lot'. People went to a lot of trouble for him to ensure he had what he wanted. All the staff were helpful, kind and professional and helped Dad to get home again. Highly recommended.

I was moved here for respite after 5 weeks in the hospital with a rare brain disorder. It is close to my home. The staff are really lovely and couldn't be more helpful/cheerful. I am totally independent therefore use the little kitchen area to make my own tea/coffee and that would be my only area of
concern long term. Leaking dishwasher or pipes flooding the floor and no proper towelling, dish clothes for sinks/surfaces to be sterilised.

Mum has been a resident for two and a half years now and the whole team have always been kind, friendly and cheerful. There are lots of activities which Mum is included in, even as her dementia progresses. The team always inform me of any incidents immediately and Mum seems very happy and calm in the
environment. Have peace of mind that she is loved and well cared for.

My father was a resident here for nearly two years before he passed away here. In all that time the care he was given was top class. He was well treated with respect and kindness well fed and always clean. I could not find any fault with this care home. The staff look after all the residents with the
same care and respect that you would expect them to receive and will look after your family for you. We visited every week and could see the excellent caring attitude of all the staff and management. My deepest thanks go to all the staff for all that they done for my father during his time there.
A thank you also goes to the general manager who has a wonderful team with her.
If you have family here they will be well looked after.

I have been a registered nurse since 1997, completing my nurse training at the Fr. Muller’s Hospital, Mangalore - India. After my graduation, I worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 7 years. I have extensive experience in both hospitals and care home settings. I moved to the UK in 2004 and have worked in care homes across the South West.


I always strive for excellence. I believe in an open-door policy, and I am an advocate for the basic principles of care, respect, dignity, privacy and choice.  I enjoy challenges and endeavour to improve the quality of the service we provide for those people we support. Hello, I am Rose and I have been working in care industry for over 15 years.  I have a natural affinity for care especially with four children, 3 with ADHD, and once they started school, I applied for my first job in care doing domiciliary work. I learnt so much about different conditions and disabilities.  I love working at Beaufort Grange, every day is different and I so enjoy being part of the residents' lives.

Hello, my name is Abiola Ajayi. I started work as a nurse at Beaufort Grange in 2022. I have been a nurse since 2014. I graduated from the Osogbo School of Nursing where I obtained my diploma in nursing after which I proceeded to Ladoke University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria where I was awarded a Bachelor of Nursing Science in 2019.
I have had extensive work experiences across Medicare which included Hospital and pharmacy. I initially worked at the Catholic Hospital, Ipetu-Ijesa after which I worked
at Kubwa General Hospital in Abuja. While working at these various locations, I have had the privilege to work in Accident and Emergency, Adult and Paediatric wards. The adult ward is where I cut my teeth as a nursing staff and spent most of my professional years.


I believe that the job of a nurse goes beyond being a profession. It is a call to something much bigger than you, consequently, I endeavour to treat everyone who
comes into my care with respect, care and kindness. Hard work and compassion are also fulcrums of my professional engagements with anyone I meet along my Professional interactions.

Hello, I'm Peter. I've been a nurse for over 14 years. I'm a registered nurse with certification in public health and occupational health nursing.


Right from childhood, I've been so fascinated with caring for the human body. This fascination led me to study nursing, and through that, I developed compassion for human care and the art of nursing generally.


Prior to my move to the United Kingdom, I worked in different departments of hospitals in southern Nigeria. I worked as an occupational health Nurse in different field locations such as seismic, offshore, and oil rigs.


My background in public health and occupational health nursing, which is geared towards disease prevention, work safety, accidents, and incident management at the workplace, helps my performance as a nurse in this Beaufort Grange care home.


Personally, nursing affords me the opportunity to touch human lives, and doing this gives me so much satisfaction.
