Park View Care Home in Medway has been purpose-built to offer care and support for up to 32 residents living with dementia.

The home is located in its own grounds adjacent to Gillingham Park and features a lift for those who are unable to manage stairs.

All rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities and are fitted with a nurse call system with some rooms containing pressure mats. Each room at the home has telephone and aerial points and a suite of furniture - one of which has a lockable facility should residents wish to secure personal belongings.

Located in the grounds of the home is 'Park View Suites' which contains eight bedsits, four of which are double rooms, ideal for residents who may have partners and may wish to share, while the other four are single beds.

Park View Suites has its own communal kitchenette and dining area where clients can eat together, and also a communal lounge where they can relax and socialise.

From the initial visit my mother-in-law stated " I feel safe here" We felt that if there had been an available room at the time Mum would have moved in then. After only a few weeks the opportunity to move came up and with the expertise and support of the management and admin team a move was so easy
to complete. Mum has said that she is enjoying herself but may have to buy more clothes as the food is so good she will be putting on weight. I would recommend this home to anyone.

The staff and management are all fantastic at Park View Care Home. They're very friendly, caring and respectful towards my mother. Every time I come to see her she looks happy and well dressed. The activity staff are amazing with her and all the other residents as there is always some sort of activity
taking place. I would highly recommend Park View.

I can't speak highly enough of all the staff at Park View care home. We as a family are always made to feel welcome and they have looked after my Mother exceptionally well. There are good activities put on from movie nights, puzzles, gardening, etc. and the variety of food is fantastic. Thank you all

Park View is a well-run care home with committed and caring staff. When I visit my mother her room is clean and organised and she is always well dressed. The home is airy, has good food and regular activities. Should I need to speak to someone regarding my mother's care there is always someone around.

Since my mother has been at Park View I have noticed great progress in her day-to-day well-being. The staff are patient with her and don’t rush her when providing care and when I visit she is always clean and well dressed. My mother is a very active person and loves taking part in the activities put
on and there is a lovely garden area with raised flower beds which she enjoys spending time in.

My mum has received nothing but professional care and support from the staff at Park View Care Home with there being staff on hand 24 hours a day. There are daily activities which take place and that my mum enjoys taking part in as well as outside entertainers who come into the care home. Park View
also caters for my mum's dietary requirements and her room is kept neat and tidy.

Park View Care Home has provided incredible, compassionate care towards my mother, the staff really do go the extra mile. I have every confidence in the staff from the carers, housekeepers and management that when I leave from seeing her that she is in safe hands. Her room is nicely decorated and well-furnished
with other facilities within the care home being kept and maintained to a good modern standard. I would highly recommend Park View.

All things considered, I am very happy with the care my mum is getting at Park View. It's never an easy thing when a loved one has to go into care, however during my mum's time at Park View, I have found the staff to be honest and exceptionally caring towards my mum. When I visit her, Park View has

From the start of my search for looking for a care home for my dad, I have never regretted choosing Park View. They have been professional at all times, viewing the home was straightforward, any questions I had were answered and it is clear that the care and wellbeing of the residents is their number

I can’t applaud the management and staff at Park View care home enough for the work they do. They have been looking after my dad for some time now and I can safely say they have been doing a superb job caring for him. They have treated him with dignity and respect and whenever I visit him he’s well
presented and they encourage him to partake in activities to keep active. If ever I have any questions about my dad the manager is always at the end of the phone to speak to me. Thank you all for the work you do.

My mother receives a very high standard of care at Park View Care Home with the staff being very committed and providing very person-centred care. Her room is bright, spacious and well furnished. The staff have been excellent looking after Mum. They are friendly and caring and a lot of the staff have been there a long time so know my mum and the residents very well. Mum joined the care home in December 2020. Since this day the care she has received has been outstanding. Every single member of the Park View Care Home takes time to acknowledge you when you visit and demonstrate their care, respect and total understanding of mum when we see them with her. We are looking
forward to the day when we can go inside the home as sadly Mum entered when the Covid lockdown was in place. We have been kept fully informed of her well-being and the team are more than happy to discuss any questions or concerns we have. Arrangements for visiting are clear and are organised in a way that ensures Mum and everyone else is safe. Thank you to the manager for your outstanding professionalism and to all the team for the outstanding care they give.
