My mother was admitted to Rubislaw Park Care Home in early February.
From the initial offer of a place, all the way through to her admission, the home and their staff were excellent. Not just professional, but also very caring and provided a bespoke personal touch tailored to my mum's needs. Every
question we had was answered and addressed.
When I dropped her off at the home she was welcomed by staff and personally by the home manager who already knew her name and made the whole experience very pleasant, at what can be a difficult time.
In the weeks that followed, I cannot praise the staff or the home enough. At every stage, they have made the care and service they provide as personal as they can and my mum has forged some great relationships with the staff as they get to know each other.
The home itself is lovely and in a lovely location. One look at the home's Facebook page gives you an idea of how fun they make the place for the residents with regular activities, happy hours and general fun times.

Everything is catered for. One is pampered and all the staff are exceedingly pleasant. The meals are outstanding. I am fortunate to have a lovely woodland view from my full-length window.

This is my feelings over several years. I have visited several residents and they all feel secure, happy and well looked after. My own feelings are that the home is very well run, the care, compassion and friendliness of the staff, both to the residents and visitors is first class despite the shortage
of staff at times. The communication of the weekly letter, lately, to the relatives and others is very well accepted. You well deserve the write up in the paper this week. I hope it's a great boost to all the staff at this very depressing time. Keep up the good standards and work.

From the first day my mother entered Rubislaw Park Care Home, her nursing needs, both physical and emotional, were taken into account. This was remarkable as my mother was admitted at the start of lockdown in March. Each member of staff has been friendly, positive and understanding at any concerns during
the settling in period. It quickly became clear that nurses, administrative staff and management were highly professional. It has been impressive and reassuring that in the short space of four months, my mother looks (and is) very well cared for, calm and during regular phone calls, tells me how 'helpful and lovely' the nurses are. Thank you.

My grandfather was in the home for only six days but received the highest standard of care. he was treated with the utmost dignity until his last breath. It was unfortunate he was not able to fully benefit from the home. Staff are extremely caring to residents and family members. My grandfather felt
secure and comfortable here in his final days which allowed him a very peaceful death.

My Aunt has been living at Rubislaw Park for over a year, she is very happy there. The staff are wonderful and very caring, they go out of their way to help my Aunt. The activities in the home are really great, always something different happening and always with great enthusiasm! We really enjoy
the Afternoon Tea on Tuesdays - the catering and service are better than we would experience in many Tea Rooms. The cakes are wonderful! The home is immaculately clean and I find my visits relaxing and enjoyable.

I was impressed by the friendly and professional staff and the high standard of accommodation and public areas. This is a first-rate facility with additional activities that you would probably only find in a high-end hotel.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this facility to anyone who is looking

Rubislaw Park Care Home gave my mum an excellent quality fo life, happiness, contentment and sense of security. The kind and approachable staff often went beyond the call of duty to ensure residents were happy. The standard of care was of the highest and the activity leaders ensured there was never
a dull moment. I spent a lot of time often popping in at odd hours at Rubislaw Park and I was always welcome and extremely happy with the care mum received.

My mum has been in this home for almost a year. It is the most amazing place as I looked at others. The kindness of all the staff is exceptional. The activities are excellent and she gets lots of outings, in fact when my grandson went to visit her for the first time he said and I quote "mama has moved
into a hotel". I need to say no more.

Mum is very content in Rubislaw Park. She loves her room and view. She is happy with every member of staff although she does have her favourites. The activities, the therapet dogs, church Services and bus trips are most enjoyed. The food is good although her appetite is poor.
As a family, we enjoy
visiting her. Management and reception staff deal with any requests promptly and efficiently. Nursing staff communicate well. We are convinced we couldn't have found anywhere better.

I am mostly happy with the care my mum receives. Majority of staff are caring but feel they are always rushed as I don't think there is enough staff to cope with the number of residents. Office staff are lovely as are the activities coordinators and management are usually available if I have any queries.

I can’t begin to praise Rubislaw enough.
This home is well lead by management and staff clearly have their residents' best interest at heart
It is clear from stepping into the home that the main focus at Rubislaw is their residents and focusing on each and everyone as individuals.
Everyone is treated
fairly and given choices while maintaining the dignity and respect of all residents.
My mum particularly likes to go on the bus runs and regularly attend happy hour on a Friday enjoying the company from other residents and the music.
Within 3 days of arriving at Rubislaw, the home had my mum up, walking and eating again.
My mum has developed a close bond with staff at Rubislaw and sees it as her “house”.
She is very happy here and staff go above and beyond to ensure she is well cared for.

We are constantly impressed by the level of support our relative is receiving in the nursing unit within Rubislaw Park Care Home.
Her condition is challenging for both her and the staff but her needs are met with caring professionalism at all times.

Very impressed with the level of care that my Mother-in-Law receives, staff know her well and are very caring. Meals are of an excellent standard and there are snacks available throughout the day. We all thoroughly enjoy happy hour on Fridays in the bar! A top class care home!
