My Gran is very happy at Rubislaw, she is well cared for by the staff who are very kind and caring. The home is welcoming with nice furnishings and it is always clean and fresh. There are lots of activities for the residents to enjoy.

The care my father in law receives at Rubislaw Park is excellent. The family are relieved that he is so settled and happy there and that all his needs are catered for. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and approachable and always make you feel so welcome.

Rubislaw Park Care Home is a well managed lovely facility. My husband has settled very well. They made what was a difficult transition for me much easier with a kind and caring approach. All the staff are very professional and more importantly very kind. The dementia team leader and her staff are
constantly updating their skills. There are many areas of good practice. The level of care could not be better. The food and catering arrangements are excellent. There is 24-hour access to medical and social care if required and residents are regularly monitored and staff keep family members updated. There are lots of activities and outings all geared to making the quality of life for the residents as good and appropriate as possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent facility.

I can’t recommend Rubislaw Park highly enough for the standard of care that they provide. The facility is second to none in Aberdeen, both in terms of comfort and safety for the residents. The meals provided by the award winning catering team offer varied choice while covering all nutritional requirements.
Most importantly the staff provide an exceptional level of care to the residents, from the the management team to the unit and support staff, top level care is given to each individual resident.

Excellent staff, management, facilities, cleanliness, activity programme and medical care.


My comments are based on our first two week's experience after my mother required urgent respite and long-term care. Within days, she was in better physical and mental condition and every day tells us how happy

she is in Rubislaw Park and how pleasant the staff are. I have also found the staff very pleasant, happy, competent and attentive. The initial assessment and entry went very smoothly and efficiently at a stressful time. Liaison with GP for ongoing medical needs has been immediate, including nurse/clinical lead accompanying my mother to the surgery and arranging onsite GP care. My mother is benefiting from the interaction with staff and other residents. The buildings have been recently refurbished and extended, to a high standard fitting a quality hotel and include several facilities for the benefit of both residents and visitors, including meeting lounges, cinema room, garden, bar.

My granny is a resident at Rubislaw Park and is very well cared for, the staff are kind and caring and makes sure she has everything she needs. The home is very clean and always welcoming with modern furnishings. Very homely and warm.

As a family, we cannot praise Rubislaw Park Care Home enough or indeed recommend them highly enough.


Unfortunately, our mother had a severe stroke, which left her mostly bedridden, distressed, and confused. She required nursing care, and spent the end of her life in the care of Rubislaw Park.
Having

experienced care homes previously with another elderly relative, we were tentative at first, but we cannot fault one thing at all and were extremely happy with the service/care provided, as follows.


Staff - Attentive, caring, thoughtful, pleasant and friendly
Room/Home - Clean, fresh modern and welcoming
Food - Excellent and plentiful
Facilities - Although my mother wasn't able to utilise them, there appeared to be numerous programmes available.


So many thanks to all the staff for making our mothers final days comfortable and as pleasant as possible in the circumstances.

No one wants a loved one to go into care but if you have to then this is the home to choose.
After visiting many homes and being appalled by many, the moment I walked through the door of Rubislaw Park I knew this was the one.
Extremely modern surroundings and facilities and a pleasant, fresh-smelling
environment.
A totally different feel to other homes I had visited.
The staff have been outstanding in the care and consideration of my dad and they have worked hard to devise a care plan which is tailored to suit his individual needs.

My mother entered Rubislaw Park Care Home in April 2016. She did not want to go into a Care Home but has been warmly received and well cared for. She took around 6 months to settle but is now very content in her 'home'.
The staff are willing, warm, able and caring. They really do care and are affectionate
too which is lovely to see. They look after their patients as if it's their own family and especially for some of the patients who don't get visitors it is lovely to see.
The surroundings are comfortable and nicely furnished and well maintained.
If there are any issues, they are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Overall, I feel my mum is being treated very well and the level of support provided to help her settle in has been excellent. Staff are all very friendly and approachable, always willing to discuss any concerns or issues. Only concern is over future staffing levels after the extension currently under
construction is completed and occupied. I presume this will be in hand but thought I would take the opportunity to raise it now.

Thank you for the review and positive feedback. When the extension is complete we will be provided with a new minimum staffing level which will include the additional bedrooms. The minimum staffing level is on display in reception. However we staff according to the dependency of our Residents - we use a dependency tool to regularly assess the staffing level required to meet the needs of all residents.
