Amberley Care Home is situated in the beautiful, historic of Sale, Manchester. Offering 72 en-suite bedrooms it is a private, luxury care home facility with premier accommodation many with views of the landscaped gardens, a cafe bar, library, fine dining, hair salon, cinema and much more to enjoy.

The home provides the highest possible standards of person-centred care to its residents, including Nursing, Dementia, Residential and Respite care. The team takes great pride in supporting each resident to enable them to live fulfilled lives. Residents are encouraged to keep active through the varied activities programme, which includes arts and crafts, gardening, entertainers visiting the home, pet therapy and trips out in the local community.

Dining times are a great sense of occasion with a variety of dining rooms available. The on-site chefs ensure nutritious and homemade meals are provided taking into account dietary requirements and personal preferences. The cafe bar is a great meeting point to enjoy a coffee and a slice of homemade cake.

From beginning to end of my mother's life, everyone in the complex was outstanding, thoughtful, considerate and very compassionate towards my mother, myself and my sister. We could not have wished my mother to be in any other nursing home environment than at Amberley! Absolutely beautiful building from
the minute you step inside the main reception to leaving.

I cannot thank the whole team at Sale Amberley Care Home enough for the outstanding care and love and genuine affection for my mother during her final weeks. In my experience of care homes, I have never come across such a dedicated team of genuine, lovely people who go above and beyond to care for their residents. My poor Mum had a terrible last three months of life being passed from pillar to post but thankfully ended up in Amberley Care Home in Sale. Wow,
what a team - the staff just seemed like one, big, happy family and the nurse looking after Mum, truly was an angel. Mum was really poorly and on my first visit, I had to talk to her through a window. I asked Mum how she was (perhaps a silly question) and she said she was being cared for so well - even in her dying state she knew. I cannot thank all of them enough and wish I'd found you three years ago - you are an amazing example to the world of care homes. Thank you.

First, I must say a huge thank you to all the staff who cared for my father. He settled in very quickly as a dementia patient, and we had no issues. The improvements were so great in my father, and the care and attention was 100%. Our family wish to express the greatest thanks, and we couldn't have
asked for more. The empathy, care, dignity and everything else was exceeded. Again, many thanks.

My Dad has been residing in the care home for four months and during this time we have been very happy with all aspects of his care. Communication has been excellent. The staff very friendly and caring and my Dad really enjoys the varied menu of foods provided. Thank you all very much.

Have been visiting Dad for four months now, and the staff are so helpful. My dad, apart from wanting to be with his wife, is very happy here. I would certainly recommend Amberley to anybody who is used to living in immaculate, happy surroundings.

As a family, we are all delighted with the care our sister has received since moving to Amberley in April. The staff and management are all fabulous. They all show care, compassion and empathy at all times. Nothing is too much trouble if our sister requires anything. There is always a lovely feeling
of fun and good spirit throughout Amberley. This is so important to our sister who absolutely loves living at Amberley. I would highly recommend Amberley if you are looking for a care home.

From the moment our sister arrived at Amberley we knew it was the right place for her. The care that was taken to settle her in was exceptional. Most of all, it is continuing as she is treated with kindness and dignity always. Management keeps us informed and updated and all staff, admin and nursing,
genuinely are compassionate and seem to enjoy their roles. My sister enjoys the varied activities and the beautiful garden. She raves about the variety and quality of the food and has put on some much-needed weight. A huge thank you to Amberley and the remarkable staff.

I’m afraid I would not recommend this home due to the Care Home Manager. I don’t think it’s appropriate to go into details suffice it to say that our concerns are being pursued separately.


The home is new and the rest of the staff are lovely.

My sister and I would like to say the biggest thank you to the fantastic and amazing manager and staff of Amberley Care Home. These incredible people opened the doors to their home a month early after being seconded by the NHS to become a community hospital for people who needed to be moved from the
hospital because of the crisis. They opened their doors and their hearts to our Dad, giving him the absolute best outstanding care. After two days of him being there, they then welcomed my sister and me in and allowed us the privilege of being with Dad in his final days. They looked after us - three perfect strangers - like we were family and made one of the saddest times of our lives both bearable and special. We can't put into words how grateful we are and what we feel for you all. Thank you!
