Angelcare Residential Living is a fully private establishment, now accepting admissions from ages 18 to 65+, as well as family visits for guests.

I was finding it extremely difficult to get respite care for my wife who is only 50. Most homes will not take under 65s. Then I found Angelcare. From the very first telephone call, I felt very welcome. The owners, management, and staff were very helpful and knew exactly what my wife needed. She has
been twice now and thoroughly enjoyed herself. I would not hesitate to recommend Angelcare, everybody was polite, professional, and understood my and my wife's needs.

Lovely clean care home, staff were so friendly. There are three rooms in which the residents can relax and enjoy the view or mix with other residents. The bedroom was spacious and well furnished with own tv and bathroom. Overall very satisfied and made a huge difference to have a holiday without worrying
about leaving a 93 year old at home alone. Thank you to the Resident Manager and the Operations Manager, and all the staff.

From the commencement of care it has been clear that this home is of the highest quality. The building, decorations, furnishings and uses are of an exceptional high standard. However, and more importantly, the care exhibited is first class both in group and individual settings. My wife very quickly
was supported in settling in and is now content.

My Mother in Law has been a resident for 5 months now. The care and attention she receives from all staff is exemplary although she has become close with one in particular who always makes sure Mum's hair is done and nails polished. This girl is a perfect example of individual care that the home can/does
provide. The manager is excellent both in his care to the residents and in answering any questions or concerns. Also because of the pandemic, activities have had to be curtailed as with every other care home, however, the girl in charge of said activities has done her utmost to keep residents happy and occupied. It would be unfair to mark the home down as when restrictions lift there will be outings and entertainers allowed back in. Finally, the food, residents' favourite foods are noted and every effort is made to ensure they receive their choices, in Mother in Law's case, fish. As tasted at visiting times the homemade cakes are top class. A 5* care home with wonderful staff and manager.

The staff at Angelcare are just lovely. They clearly care very deeply for the well-being of their residents, treating them with respect and finding ways in which to brighten their days. As visitors we also feel very well looked after and part of the Angelcare family.

My 91-year-old Mother arrived at this home in December. She has been made to feel extremely welcome. The staff have become her friends and have given her lots of personal attention and will take her out for some fresh air weather permitting which she thoroughly enjoys. The meals are catered to the individual's
requirements and the staff and management are happy to ensure their favourite foods are widely available. The carers ensure that they spend lots of time with activities which my Mother enjoys. The home is spotlessly clean and my Mother has a nice modern en-suite room which is very comfortable, possessions from home such as framed photographs, pictures or their favourite ornaments are encouraged. Management and staff have been excellent in allowing us to visit, we have lateral flow tests each time we go and this ensures that both myself and my Mother can see each other regularly. Telephone calls are also plentiful. An excellent home where my Mother is very happy and well cared for.

My 95-year-old mother has recently moved to this home. Everyone has been most welcoming and helpful. The staff are both friendly and professional and have made her moving in during the second lockdown as easy and pleasant as possible. I am particularly pleased to see that they take a nuanced approach
to keeping visiting safe so that I will be able to see my mother and its very easy to get to speak to her by phone.


The staff tell me that Angelcare are an established home care company and this is their first venture into providing residential care. They have recently opened after spending some years refurbishing the building and the staff have obvious pride in it. Their pride in their place and their service seems to stem from a genuine passion to provide excellent care and quality of life for those in their latter years. I find this refreshing, compared with other experience my mother and I have had over the past few months.

From our initial contact we have been treated with respect and all needs have been taken on board. Upon my aunt's arrival she was treated with dignity and the management and staff have cared and supported her. All needs have been met. The rooms are clean and comfortable, meals are catered to the individual
resident. Activities have been arranged to encourage engagement. Safety and security are excellent but discreet. The overall atmosphere is like a hotel rather than a care home.

Fantastic care provided for our Great Auntie, always go above and beyond with her care. She was a little unsettled when she first arrived, however, the staff have been excellent in helping her settle. The welcome gift was a beautiful gesture. The facilities are exceptionally clean, it's all brand new
and the room is decorated beautifully. The facilities for the family are outstanding. In these difficult times, they are always happy to ring and give an update on her progress. I would not hesitate in recommending this care home. Thank you Angelcare, you have made a very hard transition so much easier for the family.

Thomas will be your first contact with the home.


He will deal with you from the first enquiry to the assessment stage before you move in.


Thomas's other fundamental role is all things finance, from payroll & pensions to purchasing.


Zoe

Zoe Enefer

Job Title: Director & Nominated Individual

Joined: 2005

Zoe is one of the Directors of Angelcare and the Nominated Individual for the care home.


She is responsible for overseeing compliance of the home, ensuring we are fully working within the guidance of the CQC.


Zoe is also the Registered Manager for our homecare service.

Dionne Waterworth

Dionne joined the home in May 2022. Dionne has worked in a care home environment for the last 13 years. She has completed Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care and many other courses. Lisa Booth

Job Title: Head Housekeeper

Lisa joined our team in March 2022. Lisa has worked in several care homes prior to coming to Angelcare Residential Living. Lisa since joining has completed many courses to enable her to do her role, such as infection control, COSHH.


Lisa is currently our Infection Control Champion.


She brings a wealth of experience to our current team and since joining has become our Head Housekeeper.
