This is at least a 5-star home. The staff were superb and the home has first-class management. I would recommend to anyone. The whole experience has been first class and I hope if I have to go into care, this would be my first choice. My wife emerged in a better state after her stay.

Our family was overwhelmed by the kindness, support and compassion, each and every one of the Auguste team showed in caring for our dad in his final days. They sensitively guided us through each step, letting us know what was happening and what was to come. They were always swift to take action to get
our dad the medical help he needed to ensure he remained pain-free. They kept the family updated of his condition throughout, allowing us to make crucial decisions about the urgency to visit, to ensure we could spend precious moments with him in his final days. The team went over and above what we could ever have expected. They are so wonderful and showed to us all that their role at Auguste is more than a job and they are truly dedicated to the care of each and every resident. The team have also been wonderful in supporting our mum, who is also a resident. It is comforting to the family to know the love and warmth they show her when we can't be there.

When I have had an issue I contact the senior on section and the problem has been resolved. I have had appointments to see my husband whenever I have requested. The staff are friendly and approachable. My only issue is that reception is not always staffed, although I appreciate the position is only
part-time.

An amazing home. The staff are all lovely, very caring and take time to keep the residents occupied and stimulated. My Dad is very happy and enjoys all his meals. I had a window visit yesterday, he looked so well. I look forward to the day when I can hopefully get inside and see his room etc. Thank

Staff are very caring towards residents, my relative felt at home during her stay. She really enjoyed her meals and gained weight during her stay. She loved the activities and the use of technology, she constantly spoke about the magic table.

I would highly recommend this care home. My uncle is happy and settled here, and the staff are always professional as well as very caring, especially during these difficult times. Always take the time to tell me how my uncle is doing and tracking him down so I can chat to him when I ring.

The staff are wonderful, friendly and caring. The home is beautiful. The care is excellent and they meet all my nan's needs. Due to COVID, I haven’t been able to visit, however, the home provides great communication with regards to how my nan is.

My husband seems very happy and settled. He is well looked after. The food is good and the staff are lovely with him. They are so patient and keep him occupied. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to this home.

My mother is very comfortable and safe in this lovely care home. The staff are so friendly and caring. The food is good. My mother has been doing lots of activities, inside and outside of the home. I know that they look after her so well. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Auguste Communities Care

I have worked in the care field since 1982 starting as a care assistant with Durham County Council
Working my way up to Deputy Manager.
Became manager in 2001my first post

I took over Auguste in Junes 2022 having worked for the prestige group in our sister home in Stockton for a number of years.
