The allegations of the reviewer were not brought to our attention at the time instead they were raised retrospectively. However, when such claims were made, we made many attempts to engage with the family. Sadly, our invitations were ignored to rebuffed.
We are incredibly proud of the kind, caring, and compassionate team at Avocet House who put the needs of residents at the heart of everything they do. We would urge anybody considering care in Boston to call in any time to meet the Home Manager and the team and see first-hand the happy, engaging community at the home and the wonderful facilities that Avocet House has to offer.

We are very disappointed to receive yet another negative review from the same family of a service user who stayed at Avocet House for four weeks over a year ago. The allegations of the reviewer were not brought to our attention at the time, instead, they were raised retrospectively. Despite comprehensive investigations and outcome reports and the provision of hundreds of pages of documentation, we were unable to provide closure. Unfortunately, our invitations for meetings were refused. We are extremely sad that these reviews continue to be submitted.
We are incredibly proud of the kind, caring and compassionate team at Avocet House, who put the needs of residents at the heart of everything they do. We would urge anybody considering care in Boston to call in any time to meet the Home Manager and the team and see first-hand the happy, engaging community at the home and the wonderful facilities that Avocet House has to offer.

We are deeply concerned that the concerns were not brought to our attention at the time; however, when they were raised, we made many attempts to respond and to engage to discuss these concerns. We extended invites on several occasions, to meet with us but sadly these meetings were rebuffed.
