Avocet House Care Home in Boston offers person-centred care for people with residential, respite and palliative care needs and to people living with dementia.

It is located within the new Quadrant development just off the A16, a short drive from the town itself. The purpose-built, 66-bed home is carefully designed with the residents at the forefront. Bedrooms are spacious and bright and residents are encouraged to personalise them for a homely feel.

The wide range of fantastic facilities includes a garden room, cinema, hair salon, bar and much more, giving residents ample opportunity to take part in activities and wind down.

A wonderful home - when I first walked in I thought it was a hotel! Beautifully decorated and such a homely feel. The staff are incredible and really go the extra mile for all the residents. Would highly recommend.

My dad was the first resident to move into Avocet in November and since he has been well cared for and supported. Nothing is beyond the care staff and my dad's health has improved whilst he has been resident. The chef is happy to cater for dad's likes and baked a beautiful cake for dad's birthday. A
home away from home and now a second family to ours.

My Mum was discharged from hospital to Avocet House last month and has been struggling with her recovery from illness and a broken a hip. The care staff are very efficient, kind and understanding. Nothing is too much trouble and they have all been very patient and extremely helpful. The surroundings
are so beautiful and clean, just like a five-star hotel. The garden room with a screen is a lovely place so I can visit which I know helps my Mum being able to see me. Management and reception staff are very welcoming, friendly and supportive.
Mum is extremely happy with the care she is receiving and has decided to stay permanently.
Thank you to all staff you have been wonderful at this very challenging time.

My Grandfather went into respite at Avocet House at the beginning of January for 4 weeks, I was really surprised that we as a family were able to visit during the lockdown, visiting via a screen in the Garden Room which is very good for the residents' mental health. The staff welcome the family just
as much as the residents by offering support, help and advice. Avocet House make it home from home by offering tea, coffee and homemade cakes to visitors, which gives the family an insight into the food provided to residents. My Grandfather says the food and care are excellent and couldn’t praise the home enough and says dignity is kept at all times. There are also activities offered each day which really helps breakdown the day for the residents.

Wonderful facility with such caring staff. I can sleep easy knowing that Mum is being well taken care of. Staff always available and attentive. Reception staff are fantastic. Families needs are taken very good care of too!

My Father went into Avocet House for respite care for 2 weeks but ended up staying for 4 weeks. The staff at Avocet are very helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. There was lots of support and advice to both resident and family. Both the home and the grounds are beautiful.

On arrival at Avocet House, my mother-in-law was extremely poorly. The staff were so welcoming. She is always so complimentary on the care, support and understanding given by the staff. Also on the beautiful interior design of her room including a very comfy large bed.
There is always a friendly voice
at reception on phoning in to handle any queries. I can not thank them enough for being so supportive to the family and giving mum such great care.
Looking forward to visiting her later this week in the Garden Room with all the Covid19 measures in place.

Mum was very poorly when sent to Avocet House from hospital. With the care and support of the lovely staff, my mum really picked up. She is now staying for respite by choice as she feels very safe in their care. The care and support my mum is receiving is of a very high standard and as a family feel

I moved here on 16.12.20 and at present, there are only 3 residents. Staff and management have been most kind - informative and helpful. I understand there is a cinema and given time the staff will make sure we are stimulated and entertained.

Couldn't have asked for nicer staff who were always so pleasant and helpful to myself and my Mum who were unable to visit directly, due to covid. Warm and welcoming response.
