Fantastic care home. Residents are well looked after, great food choices, staff team are friendly and professional, facilities are varied with plenty to do. The home is very clean, housekeeping staff are very good. The management run the home to very high standards.

Our experience with the Barton Manor Care Home has been nothing but positive. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the home is beautiful and most of all my mother feels safe and she always looks forward to her meals (after relying on frozen ready meals for the last year). Mum was quite capable of
looking after herself at home but being less mobile now was always complaining about loneliness and feeling unsafe at night.

My mum is currently at Barton Manor Care Home on a respite term which we increase monthly. Prior to going to Barton Manor, my mum was receiving 24-hour home care which basically was more expensive than the weekly fee we are currently paying.
My mum has not looked so well for months and months. She
loves her apartment and it's really nice to see how happy she is when I visit. She likes having her hair done as well in the hairdresser unit which is within the home itself.
The staff are amazing with my mum and really care about the people they are looking after.

Mum originally came for a two-week respite, but has now decided that she likes Barton Manor so much, the staff, the care and support, the food and her room that she would like to stay longer as she is very happy and settled. For me, I know she is well cared for and happy and that is such a weight off
my mind.

This was a respite stay for two weeks after a hip operation this has been hugely helpful as going home at the age of 88 would have been difficult. As you will see all the ratings below the Barton Manor is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff and also the food is great and nutritious.

Andrea has had a passion for the Care Industry for over 20 years, beginning her journey as a Health Care Assistant on a ward at Peterborough District Hospital. Her passion extended to End-of-life care in the Community when she worked nights in people's own homes, an experience she found to be an absolute honour. She then found her way to a Care Home as a Team Leader and worked her way up to become Deputy Manager and then Manager.


Andrea's vision for Barton Manor Care Home is to give all its residents the highest quality care in a beautiful, relaxing family atmosphere. The team she is recruiting share this same vision and are eager to continue their work. The motto they have adopted is 'We work in your home, you do not live in our work space'.
