We recently moved our mum into Braintree Mews Care Home and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting environment. The facilities are clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained, creating an atmosphere that immediately
puts us at ease. Every member of the team shows commitment and is always respectful, compassionate and friendly. Every interaction and the way they go above and beyond means Mum has settled well and we have peace of mind.

After our mum, who was our dad's carer, passed away in October, my brother and I had to make the difficult decision to place our dad into a care home. We visited several care homes in the area. Braintree Mews was, by far, the best, looking more like a beautiful hotel than a care home.
Our dad has
settled in so much better than we could ever have expected and that is down to the staff and environment at Braintree Mews.
The staff at Braintree Mews are fantastic and have gone above and beyond for our family. Their knowledge surrounding Alzheimer's is outstanding and we feel at ease leaving our dad in their more capable hands.
There are daily activities which change each week, from in-house games/quizzes to outside companies coming in to entertain the residents. The activities allow interactions with other residents and staff. Family members are always welcome and encouraged to get involved if they can.
The food is delicious and varied.

I couldn't praise the home enough. They have helped Mum to transition a difficult move enormously.
The care and attention are wonderful and our family is very grateful to everyone.
We always receive a warm reception when we arrive. All the staff are exceptional.

My mother came to Braintree Mews Care Home for respite care. During this time, the whole team were so accommodating and empathetic. I do not live in the UK so it was important mum felt comfortable here. She has settled so well that we have decided to make her stay permanent.

My husband went in for respite while I went away for a weekend. He loved it, and I'm not sure he wanted to come home! The staff were lovely - everyone knew him, from the receptionist through the carers to the management team, and everyone chatted to him when they saw him. They also knew me when I went
to visit him and always used my name, which was a lovely touch and made me feel that my husband was valued. The care he received was excellent, the food was lovely and he was engaged in the activities. I've already booked him in again for next year. The bedrooms and en-suites were lovely, very comfortable and well appointed with everything he could need.

Upon entering Braintree Mews Care Home, I felt welcomed into the most palatial comfort. Customer service manager made the whole experience easier. No one envisaged this situation which is traumatic for all. My dad feels he has a purpose, he's valued. This home is a beautiful palatial palace for memory
care and all the staff are wonderful.

My mum had two weeks respite care. Braintree Mews Care Home is a lovely building with great facilities and staff. They provided activities every day for the residents. I couldn't fault it but staff were a little light at weekends, that's the only negative, but the care home is new so that was to be
expected.

Such a lovely home with wonderfully kind and caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the team who all work very hard and look after their residents extremely well.
The home is newly opened and is more of a beautiful hotel with the benefit of carers to help with various individual needs.
It certainly isn't like any other care home I have been to.
It has a residential floor for those who may just need an extra helping hand but want to stay independent, a memory floor and a third floor too. All floors have their own dining, lounge and library facilities, all with beautiful furniture.
The hairdressing and beauty salon are lovely, as are the cinema room, café area and private dining room, which all help to promote independence. The fabulous activity coordinators plan a variety of daily activities which the residents are welcome to join should they wish.
This was a huge move for our family member but we are delighted that they have settled very well and are happy and thriving.

Mum had a lovely time at Braintree Mews Care Home. She enjoyed the activities on offer and said the food was good. She also likes socialising. The room was luxurious and very clean and she was generally looked after well. My only concern was that she was not wearing her hearing aids when I picked her
up and they were in the charger the wrong way round, so had no power. Otherwise, a great service and the staff and management are all lovely.

I'm really pleased with the service and care received from Braintree Mews. They managed to move my mum and her partner in super quick and have looked after them really well. All the staff are lovely and the building is like a hotel. My mum seems to have settled in really well and I feel so relieved

Hayley has recently joined the team at Braintree Mews as Home Manager.


Hayley brings to the home a wealth of experience, having been fortunate enough to work in the health and social care sector for 28 years with the last 10 in a managerial position.


Hayley explains "I consider working with others to be a blessing, and I am very fortunate to work in a job I love.


I enjoy discovering everyone’s history and treasure the moments I spend sharing a cup of tea and having a chat with the people who are living here at Braintree Mews.


Together with the team, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care in beautiful surroundings, and I consider myself privileged to spend my days with both the staff and residents, striving to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all. I am looking forward to getting to know you all.
