Beautifully decorated, with a bright and airy feel, Caldwell Grange has been designed to offer a completely access friendly environment for residents of all mobility levels, including wheelchair users - allowing individuals the freedom to enjoy the whole building in comfort and safety.

The cosy and welcoming atmosphere has been augmented with the use of dementia-friendly colour schemes and signage to ensure all individuals can feel as relaxed and independent as possible.

My grandad moved into Caldwell six months ago and the improvement in his health and well being is great. The staff are kind and hard working. Our family appreciate all they do for him.

My stepdad moved to Caldwell when my mum could no longer cope with his Dementia. The manager and her team did everything they could to reassure my mum as this was a very hard time for her. They looked after my stepdad extremely well - he always looked clean and comfortable and I often saw him having
a laugh and a joke with everyone. When he passed away yesterday staff couldn’t do enough for us - they even went to collect my mum from home so she was with him at the end. A staff team to be proud of!

The house is modern and has excellent facilities. Mum loves the trips and goes out regularly with the activities coordinator. The rooms are kept clean and there is a separate lounge which we can have a coffee with mum.
The care staff are amazing and the manager is very approachable and accessible.

Dad came in for one-week respite care whilst we were on hourly. The bedrooms and facilities are excellent. So clean and fresh. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My Dad really enjoyed his stay and would have no hesitation to come back in for another stay.

I came to Caldwell Grange in a moving on bed for 6 weeks. I liked it so much and decided to stay as I was cared for so well. Staff and management are very good and I am well looked after.

Although my brother can be difficult sometimes, he settled well and is very well cared for, management are excellent and although busy staff do their best to cater for his needs the best they can. Dementia can be a difficult disease to understand and care for but Caldwell Grange do it well.

Last year made the difficult decision to move mum into a care home, a tough testing few months but mums now settled, happy and safe and well cared for. Cannot fault anyone for there attention and commitment to any of the residents. Yes it is sometimes busy, yes they are sometimes short staffed but residents
are always well looked after.

Dad has only been there three weeks, but I am very impressed by the building etc, it feels like a good hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The staff are all very pleasant and visitors are always made to feel welcome. The manager is always available for a chat, even about minor issues.
Having visited other homes in the area, this is definitely the best.

I cannot recommend this home highly enough. My mother lived at Caldwell for the last 10 months of her life, after making the hard decision for her to go into residential care I could not have made a better one.


All the staff are exceptional and I thank them all dearly for the care and compassion

shown to my mum and all other residents. Any concerns I had were answered and sorted immediately as the staff and management team are very approachable, understanding and supportive in each individual's needs.


The media are all too quick to report bad care, it’s a shame more is not reported for those going above and beyond.

We have been more than happy with the care and nursing our mother has been receiving. Nothing seems too much for the care staff who have a wonderful relationship with the residents. Regular special events are well received by the resident's regular special events are well received by the residents e.g
Easter bonnet making, films, instrumental groups plus so much more. A big well done to Caldwell Grange!!

My mother has been in Caldwell Grange since the end of January 2017 and she is very happy at Caldwell Grange. We were able to choose her room which has dual aspect and is very light, airy and large with plenty of storage space and a spacious wet room.


Mum has dementia and the staff are excellent.

They include her in all the activities on offer as she is very social and likes to be involved even if she is unable to fully participate.


The original carer mum had is excellent and very approachable. She was very supportive when we were looking for a care home for mum.


The whole family, including my sons and young nephews, are made to feel very welcome when visiting and nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Caldwell.

My Mother moved into Caldwell in January 2017 and is very happy here, she is also much better since moving here. The staff are very good, everybody is very friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. There is a lovely atmosphere here and it is a joy to visit. The overall standard of the
care home is excellent. I would definitely recommend this home.

My friend has recently moved into the new Caldwell Grange. The home, quite frankly, dispels every myth around care homes. It's clean, bright, airy, spacious. Most of all the carers are simply wonderful, the food is good home cooking all made with residents in mind. its a pleasure to see my friend
enjoying the tea room and lovely open courtyard, laughing with his new friends - residents and carers alike !

My Uncle has recently moved back to Caldwell Grange after the refurbishment. I cannot fault anything from the rooms, facilities and staff. All staff treat both residents and visitors with dignity, kindness and are very thoughtful. I cannot give enough praise and would definitely recommend.
