I recently visited Casterbridge Lodge and was thoroughly impressed by their exceptional care and welcoming atmosphere. The director's strong leadership fosters a nurturing community, where every resident feels valued and heard, creating a compassionate and professional environment from the moment you
arrive.
The manager deserves special praise for her outstanding management skills. She leads with empathy and efficiency, empowering staff to deliver personalized care. The manager's attention to detail ensures smooth operations, from tailored care plans to engaging activities that cater to diverse interests. Her approachable nature builds trust with both staff and families, instilling confidence in the high-quality care provided at Casterbridge Lodge. I highly recommend this care home to anyone seeking a compassionate and well-managed place for their loved ones.

My wife has been a resident for 1 year and has settled very well, due to the treatment by all the staff, she has become easier to look after. Myself and my family are always treated very well when visiting. This is such a comfort for a family going through a difficult period and knowing how well she
is being looked after in a safe environment with care and compassion.

Outstanding care from a care home that really cares!
After a terrible experience at another local care home, Casterbridge Lodge was a definite breath of fresh air. Managers are visible and approachable at all times. Staff are patient, very kind and amazing at their jobs. The home is very clean and
very well maintained. My father thrived at this home, eats well, and always has a drink within reach.
I really can't speak more highly of the home and its team. I could sit and watch and listen to interactions between staff, residents and the management team in the lounges all day, and it was always a thrill to witness staff dancing with residents and encouraging them to take part in activities and interactions with others.
The external areas of the home are also very well maintained, and residents were encouraged to go outside to sit under umbrellas during hot weather during the summer, where they were given ice lollies and ice creams to enjoy.

My mum has been at Casterbridge Lodge for more than a year now and she has settled in well thanks to the managers and staff who are very caring, friendly and supportive to my mum's (and my) needs. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel the staff have worked so hard to make it feel like a family, a home
that's well loved and are always keeping my mum feeling safe.

My husband is treated with care, dignity and efficiency by all the staff in the home.
They are kind and caring not only to the residents but to their visitors too.
I can’t speak too highly of all aspects of his care from communication with me to his medical physical and personal needs.
He has settled
well interacting with the staff who always have a ready smile and give encouragement with humour and patience at all times.
