Chesford Grange offers a range of tailored care packages for those looking for nursing, respite and palliative care.

This purpose-built modern home provides relaxing social areas and large landscaped gardens. Bedrooms are fitted with a TV and 24-hour nurse call system. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and a laundry service is provided. Residents are able to personalise rooms with personal items.

Fresh homemade food is served every day, and residents can enjoy healthy snacks, homemade biscuits and cake, tea and coffee, smoothies and juices throughout the day.

Residents can engage in a variety of stimulating activities at the home, alongside regular organised outings and trips as well as entertainment and events.

This is Mum's first experience of being in a care home. I was immediately put at ease after initial conversations with the manager and deputy manager. I've been really pleased with how Mum has settled in. All the staff are lovely and treat Mum with respect. Her room is lovely and the corridors are spacious.
The Jubilee party and meeting the 'activity' staff have been great.

My father-in-law was admitted into Chesford Grange Care Home for end of life/palliative care. Although he thought he was going just for respite care. The care he has received in the two days he has been here so far has been good. The food he has loved and the bed he loves. All he wants to do is have
comfort, dignity and smoke his pipe in his remaining days left.

I really appreciate the effort you made to write a review for us. Your father-in-law was here for only a short period of time but he made a huge impression on us all. It was a privilege to care for him in the last week of his life. We still expect to see him with his pipe in his hand grinning from ear to ear underneath his woolly hat. My experience of my dad coming into Chesford Grange Care Home has been reassuring, everyone has been very kind and understanding when we made the difficult decision of bringing him into a care home. I would highly recommend Chesford Grange.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this because since your lovely review your dad has sadly passed away. Knowing what he did to help care for your mum and to rejuvenate the greenhouse at the previous home, it was wonderful to have the chance to care for him in return for his kindness. I only wish we could have had a little longer with him but he was always determined to have the last word and he is at peace now. We will remember him fondly and plan to have a special plaque made in his memory which we will place in our memorial garden here at Chesford.

My dad stayed at Chesford Grange Care Home for four weeks of respite recently. Right from dad's arrival, the staff were friendly and welcoming and made dad feel really comfortable. Throughout dad's stay, they kept in contact with me, as I do not live locally. They were on hand to discuss any concerns
or other information, which I needed. They also liaised with dad's GP and pharmacy to arrange more medication, which was a great help to the family. Overall, the staff have been absolutely wonderful in caring for dad and I simply cannot thank them enough.

Chesford Grange Care Home was a well-maintained property with a deep clean most days. The staff were friendly and caring, although it is unfair of me to write a review of activities as it was not fully open. I was allowed out on errands and never spoken down to by the staff. I was checked on every night
as part of my care plan, I was never mistreated and enjoyed my stay at Chesford Grange Care Home.
