Chetwynd House Care Home is a family-run, award-winning care home providing luxury quality care in Chilwell.

A friendly, well-trained team ensures high standards of residential and dementia care in a comfortable, caring and compassionate environment.

Fabulous care given to residents. Nothing too much trouble. As like a home-from-home as it could be. Very caring and understanding to families of residents too.
Very well maintained and clean, lovely to have a pub, garden and cafe area available at all times.

Staff at Chetwynd House Care Home are kind and helpful every time I speak to them or visit. The home has a welcoming atmosphere with a bright and attractive reception area. Staff genuinely care and appear happy in their work. Many stay in their roles which is reassuring and gives continuity. Dad has
been looked after with dedication for two years. I'd like to thank the staff for doing such a tough job so cheerfully. Dad is peaceful and happy at Chetwynd.

I really appreciate everything you do and have done for my mum. Chetwynd House is a super place filled with genuinely caring staff and we have built up fantastic relationships with you all, especially certain individuals. You are always there at the end of the phone or in person. It's going to be a

Set in the quiet surroundings of a suburban housing estate, Chetwynd House Care Home has easy access to local amenities and pleasant walks where the staff often take residents for walks beyond the home's own outdoor space. There are also well-constructed and designed garden areas on the ground floor.
The internal communal areas are airy and spacious to encourage social interaction. The residents' rooms are adaptable to individual needs and whatever the needs, the exceptional staff are always on hand and eager to help.

My mother was a resident from August to December. She was treated in a friendly, courteous and professional way. All her needs etc. were cared for in the same manner! All staff were helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Chetwynd House Care Home to anyone.

My nana is a resident at Chetwynd House Care Home. The facilities are brilliant. She is very well cared for.
We have brought our children (her great-grandchildren) along to a breakfast with Santa. This gave my nana a chance to see and be with all her family. The service was outstanding and all residents
and visitors were delighted with the service. All staff are brilliant and provide great care.

I was extremely impressed from the initial home visit assessment, as my parents required very different types of care, one end of life and the other dementia.
Throughout Mum's time here staff from different floors communicated to allow them to spend enough time together, just enough for Dad to remain
calm, while providing rest times for Mum. All staff showed genuine care and compassion for my mum in her final weeks, liaising with all multidisciplinary team providers to ensure she received everything to ensure she was comfortable and pain-free.
The level of professional knowledge and compassion shown to all our family has completely blown us away, the ongoing support to Dad while grieving has been second to none.
The manager is just the most approachable and helpful manager I have ever known. Special recognition to one member of staff who goes above and beyond.
Fantastic teamwork, from the front of house to everyone behind the scenes.

Mum moved in three years ago, followed by Dad two years later. I cannot thank everyone at Chetwynd House Care Home enough for everything they do. The care, food, entertainment and facilities are second to none, they go above and beyond to help. The last two years have been extremely challenging, they
kept our parents safe and well cared for during a very difficult time.

We delegated Mum's care to Chetwynd House Care Home over a year ago in the middle of the pandemic and we have not been disappointed. The team have supported all of us and Mum has been very well cared for. When we visit we are always welcomed by all of the team. We are able to make drinks for ourselves
and our family and we help ourselves to a biscuit or two that are always in good supply. These are simple things but it means a lot to us to be able to feel at home with Mum. Dad is welcomed to stay and share a meal with Mum in the evening and that means a lot to him too. Nothing is too much trouble and the team work hard to resolve any questions we raise. The team deal with any healthcare issues quickly and professionally and are persistent with follow-up appointments as and when needed. Both managers during Mum's time in the home have been so approachable and supportive to us and we feel like friends with all of the team when we visit.

I am so happy that I chose Chetwynd House Care Home for my mum who came into care last June. The homely ambience and dedication of the team at all levels are second to none and the care, love, patience and respect that the staff and management have shown Mum is faultless. Also, the staff's attention
to detail, as it’s the smallest things that can mean so much to residents and their families.
The food, cleanliness and dedication of all the staff is five-star plus.
The activities that the ladies in pink organise to stimulate and engage at all levels make Chetwynd House the best there is.

My father has settled in well to his new surroundings and is looked after extremely well by all of the staff here at Chetwynd House Care Home. They are always friendly and helpful, I have built up a good rapport with the admin/reception ladies and they have reassured me, on more than one occasion, when
I have asked them specific questions regarding my father's welfare. Nothing is too much trouble and they show me the activities he joins in with and the events he attends. They regularly give me updates on how he is, his health visits and needs and they are always there for me to chat to if I have any concerns as he can sometimes be quite difficult to deal with. The home itself is beautiful; lovely rooms and garden area. The facilities are great i.e. the pub, shop and cinema and there is always something going on to entertain the residents. I am comforted that my father is being cared for above and beyond by the lovely staff at Chetwynd.
