Job Title: Home Manager
Joined: 2024
Hello, my name is Alison Parry, and I am the Home Manager here at Cotswold Gate Care Home.
I have been in social care since 1993 and have worked as a home manager since 2005, during which year I achieved the Registered Manager Award. I have also held an English Nursing Board qualification in Managing Care for Older People since 2003. Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong relationship with the Care Quality Commission and have had consistently positive outcomes from all previous inspections. I am passionate about providing quality care for senior individuals and feel that everybody should have the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, no matter their care needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy dining out, baking and reading. I have also travelled extensively, usually to visit sites of archaeological interest.

Hello, my name is Rob, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Cotswold Gate Care Home.
I have always been passionate about roles that allow me to support and help people, which is why I find my role as Client Services Manager at Cotswold Gate so fulfilling. The most rewarding aspect is getting to know the stories of our residents and their families and supporting them through the often emotional process of finding the right home for their loved ones.
Before joining Cotswold Gate, I spent over five years managing outdoor education programs and working with charities supporting child carers, where I helped raise funds and deliver respite holidays. I also managed a busy COVID-19 testing centre for the duration of the pandemic, moving on to work as a soft skills trainer for a management training company. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the challenges carers face, the unique needs of care seekers and the importance of a strong family network.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially teaching my very energetic 2-year-old boy about nature and the great outdoors. My dad is a golf fanatic, and while I've never quite mastered the game, I enjoy getting a lesson or two from him on the course now and then!
