We have had a positive experience, which has been amazing given the emotions included in making a life-changing decision. We have been able to ask questions and week reassurance at any time. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is welcoming and lots of thought has been put into making our family members
comfortable secure and well cared for.

It says I'm not allowed to mention staff names, but they are the ones that make the home! They all show what it is to be a care professional. My Mum and Dad are really happy here and that is a direct result of the people that they are looked after by. In particular, 4 carers are all amazing (and that's
just who we see most often) but all of the team are just so caring, all of them. 11/10.

We are happy with the care our mum receives. The Denby is bright, clean and welcoming. Mum enjoys the activities, they keep her stimulated. The staff are friendly and staffing levels seem consistent. Mum is still settling in at The Denby after being somewhere else for 6 years. She sometimes gets worked
up. The staff at the Denby are good at keeping her calm and reassured. We would recommend the Denby to anyone looking for a good care home.

The care my mother received in the last few weeks of her life was exceptional. The staff were so caring and treated Mum with dignity. From the original contact with The Denby to Mum getting a place at the care home, myself and my family have been very happy with the care that we have all received. At first, Mum found it hard to settle but the staff suggested we come for lunch with her. That really helped her to get used to the dining
room and the food was very good. I am always pleased with the staffing levels and the friendliness of the staff. Mum is now settling which puts our minds at rest.

I am pleased that my mother lives in such a safe environment and is well cared for which stops me from worrying. The staff are very caring and the home is well staffed. We are able to visit without restrictions. My mother can go on trips out and there are plenty of activities.

My sister moved from hospital into The Denby. Her move went very smoothly and her needs were assessed and altered immediately to make sure she was properly cared for right from the start. All requests from me were dealt with exactly as I had asked. The admin side of things was made easy to understand
- everyone was very keen and helpful at every stage. My first impression of The Denby is that it is a well-run, friendly and efficient care home.

We are always made to feel welcome and if we need to speak to someone there is always someone available. A lot of the staff knew us by name including the member of staff on reception. They understand our relative's needs and treat her with patience and understanding. We know she is safe and well looked

My dad has settled in really well. The home is really nice. Staff are all really friendly and it's clear they enjoy working at the home. Dad is being really well looked after. There are lots of activities. My dad has mixed dementia so does need some special help, which is all catered for. A really home

I have found the management and staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and keen to provide the care my dad needs, amending this as they get to know him. Any requests have been accommodated and I have felt it has been a team effort between staff and family to try to settle my dad into life at the home.
Concerns have been raised/addressed in consultation with us, as a family. Having visited another care home recently, I am confident that The Denby at Denby Dale is an excellent, well-run and 'homely' home.

I visited The Denby at Denby Dale whilst I was visiting my dad from New Zealand. What struck me was how 'homely' it was and how friendly and caring the staff were. Being able to speak to my dad on the phone is really important as I'm so far away and "The Denby" staff will take a landline to my dad if
he isn't answering his phone/doesn't hear it or it's not with him. They also have "charging his phone overnight" as part of his 'care routine' at night. These little touches make such a difference.

My father has been a resident for approximately 9 weeks. He has settled well with the help of all the staff. The staff and management are all very caring, attentive and supportive of my dad and the whole family. He has been made to feel very welcome and treated with dignity and respect. The facilities
are first class, lovely clean room and excellent communal areas. Excellent stimulating activities in a safe and warm environment. Well done all!

My dad moved into The Denby on 14.12.23. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with warmth, care, empathy and a genuine sense of "holiness". Over the past week, I have been delighted with the level of care and support my dad has received from literally every member of staff. The atmosphere is
relaxed, happy, friendly and all-encompassing. It is such a relief to leave him knowing the care he is receiving.

My father has been in The Denby at Denby Dale for a month and I can't fault any area of his care. The facilities are clean, attractive to look at and very new-looking. The staff accommodated my father's needs with professionalism, compassion, and friendly smiles and very approachable to me. They soon
got to know my father and understand his dementia.
I would recommend this care home to any family needing above-average care for a loved one.

My mum has been in The Denby on the dementia floor, since June 2023. She loves it! She settled in very quickly and felt safe and cared for. This was due to preparation, but mainly down to the caring and adaptable nature of the staff at The Denby. entertainment calendar is outstanding and mum is kept
very busy with the variety of what is offered. The Denby was recommended to me and I can't recommend them highly enough.

My experience at The Denby Care home over the last 7 years has been a very good one. My uncle has had 7-star treatment here in his last years. He wasn't always the easiest character to cope with but they treated him with respect and cared for his every need. I was always informed of any issues. The
staff I found to be very vigilant, especially at the end. The last couple of weeks the staff stepped up another gear and looked after me too. They are amazing.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Hannah has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked with HC-One for many years, Hannah closely shares the company vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
