Grand View Care Home offers residential, nursing, respite and dementia care in a luxury, purpose built environment located in Stamford.

All members of the team are chosen for their experience and compassion for those they work with. They cater for all residents by providing person-centred care to meet each person's health and wellbeing needs. Care plans are carefully designed and regularly reviewed over time, ensuring the care team are able to identify any changes and respond quickly.

Offering an all inclusive service, the team strive to make the home a complete lifestyle. Regular activities are planned to help engage residents, the kitchen team provide nutritious and delicious meals, and there is a hair salon on site. All of this is included in the total fee, giving residents and their loved ones peace of mind that everything has been taken care of.

I visited my friend's mum with my friend to see her mum. The receptionist was lovely, friendly and professional. Enjoyed the afternoon.

I have visited Grand View Care Home Since my client needed respite care. Since being at Grand View I have seen her flourish socially and become interactive with other residents and staff. The staff at Grand View are second to none and are always helpful, reliable and supportive of any questions that
we ask. The new deputy manager has been a breath of fresh air and always welcomes everyone with a smile and her knowledge of tissue viability has helped my client and further my understanding for when she comes home. I would highly recommend Grand View for your Loved ones. Thank you to such a fantastic team.

This was Mum's first experince with a care home. Below are items we think can be improved.
Residents induction, so, for example, fire alarm tests - not a surprise.
All staff to have bedroom keys so doors can be looked - one resident walked into other bedrooms at night, especially.
Adjustable heating
controls in the bedroom - 25 degrees with a window open.
Allocated staff member was only on the first day - no one to explain things, and the noticeboard was several weeks out of date.
Air extraction system if lounge/dining room far too noisy for hearing aids over meal times.
Bedroom lighting could not be dimmed to a low level.
Nevertheless, some staff are excellent, especially one who showered Mum.

I am a companion to two ladies living in Grand View - one since its opening. In my experience of care homes (I have worked with other service providers before) I would say that Grand View is extremely good. Their staff are very competent and quick at getting to know the residents as individuals and
supporting their needs efficiently. It's incredibly well designed - more like a luxury hotel than a care home and the standards of care match the decor.
Activities are beginning to be provided with the coordinator offering a tailored activity calendar to suit individuals' interests, some group/ some one-to-one.
I have no hesitation in recommending Grand View if you are looking for either short or long-term care.
