Job Title: Home Manager

I am a Registered Nurse, completing my training in Portsmouth in 1984. Since qualifying I have had a varied and interesting career working in both primary and secondary care, the pharmaceutical industry and forensic nursing before moving back to Social Care in 2015.

I became a deputy manager and then General Manager for Signature Senior Lifestyle and then moved over to Avery as a General Manager.

Moving back into Social Care brought me back to my grass roots, delivering dignified high-quality care that is safe and effective to allow an individual to live the best life possible in their twilight years.

As a home Manager I pride myself in creating a happy, homely environment for those living and working within the community.

I am passionate about the care those people living in my community receive and ensure high standards are reached and maintained.

It is important that everyone who lives within our community has a voice and is listened to so that we can support their choices and ensure their dignity is always maintained.

I joined the team at Hamberley in 2024 and look forward to providing peace of mind to families who entrust their loved ones into my care.

Together as a team, we will create those forever moments.
