Helen is a Registered General Nurse with a career spanning over 35 years. She started in operating theatres and worked her way to hospital management. She achieved a BA in Adult Education in 2007 and an MA in Leading Change in 2017, so has a passion for education and encouraging staff progression.
She moved to the social care industry, having nursed a relative with vascular dementia, managing nursing homes in the West Midlands.
Helen is really excited to be leading Holly Grange House as this is a wonderful opportunity for all of the team to provide excellent care in an amazing environment. Helen is married and has a young granddaughter who is the pride and joy of the family. Helen loves knitting (she knits premature baby hats for the local hospitals) and many types of music, so will looks forward to having a home filled with singing and laughter.
