The staff at Hutton Manor have always been kind compassionate and caring. They deal with all situations in a professional manner. I have been kept upto date with my mother's health and care. I cannot fault the management or care team and thank them for their continued commitment.

We are extremely happy with the standard of care provided by the staff at Hutton Manor. The home is the best we have seen, it's always spotless and all areas are bright and fresh. The rooms are spacious with ensuite wet room which is essential for my cousin, it gives her a little independence. There
is a lovely garden for residents to sit out or have a stroll if able. On every visit staff are always very helpful and friendly. My cousin is very happy at Hutton Manor and I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for care.

Extremely happy with the level of care my grandma is receiving. Staff are excellent very friendly and willing to go that extra mile. The home is very high standards always clean looks more like a hotel than care home rooms are spacious and comfortable.

My brother has been in Hutton Manor for a year now and is well settled and well cared for and speaks very highly of all the staff who he likes to have a bit of fun with and all of whom are
extremely friendly when we visit. The rooms and the home is immaculately kept and very inviting.

Hutton Manor suits our Mum's residential care needs extremely well. She has been resident for a year. As a family, we find the care she receives to be excellent and there is always time to discuss this if needed. Communication is excellent, the 'phone is always answered quickly and you know who you
are talking to, so important for relatives. There has been a sense of opening up after the pandemic, a regular hairdresser and an increase in activities for residents of late with inclusive events for relatives too. The care is kind and the environment is welcoming with furniture and fittings of a high quality and standard. We would very much recommend this home.

Since my auntie went into Hutton Manor theres been nothing but excellent services from all members of staff. They have been so supportive with my auntie and myself. They are always there with a listening ear and a helping hand.

Our Mum has been cared for at Hutton Manor for the past 3 years, during this time the staff have provided excellent care and have also developed a good relationship with her, encouraging Mum to take part in the many activities they provide. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and the staff
are always friendly, Mum's health and mental wellbeing has improved massively since her admission. The biggest compliment I can pay is to say our mum was always adamant that she didn't want to go into care but now couldn't be happier. Also, Hutton Manor have been very proactive during the covid pandemic and have adopted a safety-first policy to protect both residents and staff.

From entering the home in June the service has been exceptional nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and facilities are excellent. Sadly in August my Father passed away having only been resident for 2 weeks. All the staff without exception treated myself and family superbly well but especially my
Mum who remains a resident. The empathy shown by all to her has been amazing - I know she is in safe hands.

I find the staff and the care excellent. My uncle loves being there and I enjoy visiting him made very welcome. Would highly recommend food excellent and generally, I have a lot of confidence in the care he receives.

Both my parents have been lucky enough to be residents in Hutton Manor, during the 2 years we have been involved with the home we have never had any reason to complain or question anything, both my parents settled in very quickly and the staff made them feel at home, the home is spacious and well maintained
and spotlessly clean, there is a good selection of fresh food daily and if mum doesn’t fancy what’s on offer the staff make her something else.
The management and staff have done amazingly during the pandemic and kept residents safe and active to the best of their ability they go above and beyond their role

My Mum was brought back from Spain after my father died and went straight into Hutton Manor. She was suffering from advanced dementia and doubly incontinent.
All the staff and carers at Hutton Manor were extremely helpful with the whole experience of bringing her back and getting her settled. This
was all during the pandemic and I was not allowed to visit for the first 2 weeks, however I spoke to the staff and Mum every day. They were really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. Mum was on end of life care at the end of 2021, and I couldn't be more grateful to Hutton Manor for everything they did for Mum. They allowed me to visit at any time of the day and night to see her, they provided all the PPE that I needed. Not only was everyone so kind and caring to Mum they were also the same to me and my family. Despite this being a care home and the staff being carers; they actually went way above and beyond what they are employed to do. I can't praise them highly enough.

My Nana has been at Hutton Manor for a few years now and I haven't been able to visit her for a while until a few weeks ago. I was lovely to see her settled and looked after so well. I live a distance away so it's difficult to factor that in with lockdowns.

I am very happy with my room here and all the staff are very friendly. They ask me to join in things even if I don't want to. My room is lovely and overlooks the grounds also. Meals are very varied and we do get a choice of what we would like to eat.

We moved Mum to Hutton Manor to be near us when it was apparent her decline was accelerating. Even with the limitations imposed by Covid-19, we were so glad we did so. Every aspect of her care was exemplary. She was treated with kindness and dignity, and every effort was made to help her make the most
of the facilities there. She thought she was in 'a beautiful hotel'! I was so glad she was there and not in the hospital. The respect and kindness shown to both Mum and myself during her last days will not be forgotten.

After visiting several care homes for my parents, I can say with confidence, Hutton Mannor outshines every other home I visited. All the staff are so lovely and friendly. Hopefully, when Covid restriction is relaxed, visiting will be easier.

I would not recommend this care home to anyone who’s relative has challenging dementia. Dad was asked to leave this home after three days, due to their negligence. They constantly phoned me with negative comments about my dad, which most were untrue. The manager refused to take calls from me, instead
delegated her deputy who was very kind. It is a lovely looking home but in my opinion, they are not equipped to look after anyone who has challenging behaviour. I got zero support from them at what was the most upsetting time possible for us, as a family. Research this home and management as thoroughly as you can before you choose to place your loved one with them.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the behaviours presented on admission and throughout it was very clear a more specialised environment was required for your father. Ensuring the wellbeing of all residents is paramount and I have a duty of care to ensure all residents and staff are safe. I understand this was disappointing for you to hear as initially your wishes were for your father to continue to reside at the home. Regarding the phone calls, you say were always negative we have to inform relatives of any changes regarding their loved one’s care needs. Not at any point did I refuse to take calls from yourself. I have a deputy Manager to support me at the home who has also had discussions with yourself. We support residents with various behaviours but unfortunately if those behaviours escalate to the point of putting themselves and others at risk then a more suitable placement may be required. I would welcome anyone who wishes to research the home to do so.

It is always a sad and worrying time when you have to make the decision to put a loved one into care. Even more so as the day after my Mum went in, we went straight into lockdown. The staff at Hutton Manor are amazing. They are supportive of any concerns and went above and beyond to let us see Mum at
a distance during the lockdown. We saw Mum twice through the patio and spoke over the phone. Mum always looked settled and happy when we saw her on the web site photos. Because of Mum's Alzheimer's / Dementia, she does not fully understand why we can't see her but it seems the staff are constantly reminding Mum of the situation. They have put on some lovely activities throughout this difficult time and I praise them highly for that. I am looking forward to the time I can see Mum properly again to give her a hug, as I went from seeing her every day to just those couple of distant visits. If it meant it kept the residents and staff safe it was worth it. Such a lovely place I would highly recommend it to anyone.
